  1. DOES ANYONE ONE KNOW IF A PERMIT IS NEEDED WHEN MY FIANCE K1 VISA HOLDER BRINGS HER KID K2 VISA HOLDER TO THE USA? THE KID WAS REGISTERED IN MEXICO UNDER BOTH HER NAME AND THE "FATHER'S NAME" ON THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE ( SHE IS STILLS ON THE PROCESS OF GETTING "FULL" CUSTODY OF THE CHILD) PLANING ON FLAYING IN TO CHICAGO FROM GUADALAJARA MX
  2. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AFTER DOZENS OF EMAILS AND CALLS TO MANY DIFFERENT OFFICES, USCIS, EMBASSY, AND EVEN OUR STATE SENATORS THANK TO GOD AND SOMEONE WHO TOUCHED HIS/HER HEART AND GAVE US A "HAND" ( WE DONT KNOW WHO HELPED US AFTER SO MANY EMAILS) WE GOT A CALL FRIDAY TO LET US KNOW THAT THE CASE WAS REVIEWED AND THE VISAS WERE APPROVED, NO EXPLANATION AT ALL, JUST TO SEND THE PASSPORTS TO THE EMBASSY IN JUAREZ YESTERDAY THE STATUS CHANGED TO ISSUED AND 45 MINUTES AGO GOT THE EMAIL WITH THE DHL TRACKING THANKS TO ALL!
  3. Meant used to be quicker, when we got engaged a person we know got her k1 visa in 8 months vs the 12-14 the Spousal visa was going to take. Big mistake covid got worse on top ot that the first lawyer we hired sit on our application 7 months without doing a thing or sending it to USCIS at all. Got my money back and went to another lawyer she filled right way the same week Already asked my fiance all the details and she doesn't recalled being asked for evidencuat the day she dropped the documents neither at the interview. The question asked was the usual Who is requesting you? Where he lives? How did you meet? What are the wedding plans? Documents asked at the interview was My birth certificate long form, she gave it to them Her birth certificate The birth certificate of her son. After that she says the cónsul waa looking a the computer for a long time then someone else got involved and give her that paper with the 221g and the only check box marked is the Your case will be returned to USCIS for further revieu.
  4. Im going trought the same thing, after the interview at the consulate was given the 221g, and case being sent back to USCIS, how long from that to the visa on hand did it take four you? thinking about flying to Mexico and just get married if is going to take the same as the first part of this nightmare.
  5. Thanks for all your support, I'm more calm now after talking to everyone and after having a conversation to the fiance We got nothing to worry about, we can summit anything they need since this is a really strong case and the best part real with supporting evidence. Having a hard time finding cases on herw or the forums related to k1 visas sent back to at least know the expected outcome. We fillee a k1 because back then USTED to be the quickest way to get her here, otherwise would have be a Spousal application visa since 1 day.
  6. Already filled an inquiry on USCIS and NCV, also Freedom Info act request on both, need to know the root cause to see if is even fixable
  7. My bad, I'm Used to call him that, is technically her son at this time
  8. Nope, even sent them back to the embassy hours later (fiance my brother and my step-son) to ask at the desk, and they were not willing to say what was going on, only red flags and I don't even know if it even meters are the following: 1 When the NVC was taking a while to give us a date for the interview I sent a request, on that request there was a message at the bottom, stating that "the DOB of the beneficiary, didn't match their records), but, Is RIGHT on the DS160 confirmation letter, SHORTLY after we where given an interview date........ it continues...... at the day before the interview "the drop-off document date" , they receptionist asked her if her date of birth was JUNE 6 . she replied not, is June 4, but nothing after that, I will imagine if that was the issue, they made it,(NVC) because or confirmation is RIGHT. #2 The lawyer made the mistake of not putting a letter on her middle name on the F129f (c on Jacqueline), which we decided to ignore and put it the "right" way on the DS-160/ Can this be it???
  9. No, other than at this time was going to be put on pending and then contact USCIS
  10. You have been found inegeglibe under 221g, is what it reads. Second part estates the cade is going back to USCIS for review to contact USCIS for update
  11. Hope youall doing better than us, after being robbed by our first and wasted 8 months waiting on him , we did it ourselves but then at the last step... She had her interview yesterder at Juarez and was given a WHITE paper with the 221g code and was told the case was gonna sent back to USCIS Typo error? More evidence needed even it was approved already by USCIS? The only thing that worriesme about is that on the 129f we forgot to put a SINGLe letter on her name "c" on Jacqueline other than that is a pristine case see each other every 3 to 4 months and sent pictures of us togguehter , make over 80k a year never been married neighter does she no criminal problems WE ARE LOST AND OF TOP OF THAT USCIS IS SAYING 180 DAYS JUST TO "HEAR WHAT HAPPENED" PLEASE HELP!!
