  1. My fiancé has been paying for all my gaming subscriptions the past 2 years, almost as soon as we started dating and we never included that either. When i visited him, i paid for groceries and such, we never included that either. granted, i always paid for my own planetickets regardless him offering to pay that as well. I would just leave it out. your list of what you already have collected is even more than my fiance and i submitted when we filed our petition and it was just fine. Dont worry too much about it, leave the money transfers out
  2. I just replied to your message! 😊 I didnt see it until now, sorry to have you waiting!🙈
  3. USCIS are the ones approving or Rejecting/Refusing the Petition. Reading this it looks to me like they are reviewing the additional evidence you send in. Give it a bit more time and maybe the case status changes soon to approved I never got an RFE, so im sorry, i cannot tell for sure. But to me this timeline looks like they are still actively working on it.
  4. This is probably what happened. It is so close together, he picked the big city. However i am still stunned that one does not know where he was born!😂 I blame his ADHD 😜 He is stationed and living in Jacksonville, Florida. So its not like its a quick trip to the courthouse for him 😬 it is what it is i guess. If it comes up during my interview i know what to say and how to explain. With that, he promised to write a short statement on his mistake for me to bring to the interview plus we will bring printed screenshots of conversations about this with each other and him with his mother. The BC is on its way, but by the time he will be able to send it its christmas 🤨 Lets hope the officer that interviews me has a good mood🙈
  5. I understand, we both have been married before, both divorced. I checked the letter I got from the consulate, and it does only request mine. Obviously, we did both submit our divorce certificates/decrees for the petition. I asked my fiance for it anyway, it's always better to be overprepared than to be underprepared🙂
  6. Wait... both our divorce certificates/decrees? The letter from consulate only mentions mine 🤔 Ill ask my fiance for his then, better to have it and it not needing it, than needing it and not having it
  7. He just send me the confirmation page of his order, it literally says 3 to 6 months (i said 8, my bad) And the estimated delivery is going to be somewhere between august and november... 😳 Holy moly! I need to prepare for long waiting times for anything in the US i feel🙈 im not used tot that at all!😂
  8. His birth certificate will not arrive in time, we fear. He has already requested one about 4 weeks ago, so maybe, just maybe he will get it in time but we dont think so. He will now provide the textmessages he send to his mother to ask about it and the answer he got, and i will print the chatlogs of him and me talking about this mistake. He honestly thought it was Springfield. If they indeed do want to see the certificate, i hope the just put our case in the administrative processing until it arrived and i was able to send it in. This would just be another delay like we have had many already.😅
  9. He submitted a copy of his passport with the petition and submitted Springfield at the place of birth question. When he started filing the i-134, he said he needed to ask his mom what city he was born in because he wasnt sure and that he had brought it down to 2 options, Springfield and Decatur. I then send him a picture of the place of birth he filed in the petition, which is springfield and He never mentioned it again. Today i received the i-134 per mail and it said decatur, so ... if that whats his mom said then i believe that to be true. I couldn't care less where he was born to be honest, his passport says Illinois and both cities are Illinois. I just hope it not going to be a problem during my interview And indeed, our case was approved without RFE. am i worrying too much or is he not worrying enough?😂
  10. He requested a copy of his birth certificate, but it gonna take 3 to 8 months?... Im very confused by the amount of time this takes since in the netherlands i had a copy of mine within a week 😅 I dont think the consulate is going to overlook this one...
  11. My US fiancé filed his place of birth on the petition as Springfield, now i received the i-134 bij mail, and he Filed Decatur there... We are screwed arent we?
  12. I'll surely add a review when ive had my interview! All details i can give could potentially help other prepare for everything So far i am happy they respond quickly to email, as long as you put the right thing in the subject line
  13. Hi everyone, On the app I have on my phone, I was notified I'd get mail today with a picture of what I would receive. And one of the envelopes was the letter from the frankfurt consulate. Unfortunately, they had a wonky way of putting my address on it, and it was never put in my mailbox today. Even worse... the app doesn't even show the envelope anymore! 😨 Can someone please put my mind at ease and tell me what to do if that letter never reaches me? I fear the address confused them and they just didn't deliver it.
  14. Goodmorning all! Again i have been searching to find my anser, and my questions may be too specific for an complete answer already given somewhere Therefore reaching out to the VJ-Community All info applies to the Conuslate in Frankfurt, even though i am from the netherlands (AMS consulate stopped visa operations!) My questions: After Checking CEAC, the status is Ready, with a short text on how the consulate is ready for my interview. 1: Do i Immediatly fill out and submit completed DS-160? Or do i wait for the letter from the consulate to arrive?🤔 I've read some information online that stated to bring the printed confirmation page to the interview, but also found a statement it should be mailed to the consulate email. 2: Which one is it? Either-Or? or both? Instructions not clear 😅 (if answer to question 1 is to wait for the letter, i assume to find my answer in this letter) Something im confused about: 3: Do i have to send all my documents ASAP after submitting DS-160? (which indicates me to wait because we are missing a couple of documents at this moment) Or can i Submit and continue collecting missing pieces. Lastly: 4: Can i Go ahead and schedule my medical or should i again wait for the consulate letter? Im getting mixed info on this, i think i need to wait until i have an interview date, i just want to be 100% sure. Thanks in advance and apologies if i overlooked a similar topic or guide on this. Love, Rosa
  15. Hello everyone, hope you are all well! I have been searching high and low on the forum for a topic with a similar question I have now, and I couldn't find it. My apologies in advance, in case I overlooked it. 🙈 A bit of info: My fiancé lives in Florida, I live in the Netherlands. Consulate will be the one in Frankfurt, Germany (Amsterdam stopped Visa operations as of May) Our petition got approved on March 29th. Our Noa2 expiry date is 4 months later, July 28th. Naturally we started collecting needed documents soon after, however, we encounterd some delays in waiting times for those to arrive. Also, the consulate seems to want all original paperwork Plus copies of it send to them in packet 3. Therefor my fiancé has to send me his original I-134 form, with signature in ink. It shouldn't take all too long, I think, so I wasn't worried at first. Today, April 26th, I checked up on the visa status (CEAC) and it said Ready! Overjoyed of course, but now also slightly nervous because I feel we aren't ready in the sense of our documents not being here yet. With that comes that I do not know how long Mailing everything will take from USA to me, and then from me to the consulate, let alone their time needed to review the documents. My question now is this: Do I have to attend my interview before the expiry date? or Can the interview take place after it expired, as long as the appointment was scheduled before it expired? To be clear, I think we will have everything ready well in time, I also know I could apply for the approval to be extended. Is that something I could already do, just to be sure? Thankful for all answers given and any information provided! Love, Rosa
