    Same embassy but we are 10 months in, no resolution for us yet.

    No, she was not born in closed city and nothing is special about both of us. Recently we tried to expedite visa process due to some unrest in the area of her location, however they refused any expedition. It has been 8 months, and we are emailing every month and same reply.
