  1. Are you saying you successfully got her a morning appointment on Monday? She should receive a confirmation email that has the appointment details as an attachment and print it out to show to the guard at the lobby. Please be there the earliest. There's the registration (a window of about 1 and half hour) for appointment verification and payment of 30 pesos before the seminar. After the seminar of more than 2hrs, the order of the one-on-one interview depends on the registration queue. If she's first to register, she'll be called first for interview (more or less 30mins) and if all goes well, she can leave asap.
  2. You still have to wait for the email and sms that it's ready for pickup, as the staff outside the VAC will ask you for it. I don't know if they will let you in without showing the notice. Maybe call VAC to be sure if it's okay right when it says "Issued".
  3. Hi, I found this: US visa applicants with expired medical reports are required to undergo repeat medical examination which entails doing all the required examinations and tests again and paying the corresponding fees Applicants are asked to confirm first with the US embassy if they are eligible to do a repeat medical examination. source: https://slec.ph/faq/us.php use the keyword 'expire' to narrow it down. maybe call SLEC if you have other inquiries.
  4. Yes! I just finished my CFO and during the one-on-one interview, the counselor assigned to me asked them too! Any kind of police records of petitioner, CENOMAR of petitioner, and if I have screenshots of conversations/video calls with my fiance's family. I said "no, I don't have it" to all of them. But she did not insist that I provide them. I don't know how it happened or how she judged it because by the end, she gave me the receipt for the documentary stamp I paid for (P30) which is needed to get the GCP digital certificate.
  5. Congrats! 🎉 I hope you have a better chance as mine took almost a month. My interview was June 10, CEAC changed to Application Received only by June 16 and Issued by July 3. Then I just picked up my passport yesterday, July 7. It will be faster if picked up at the VAC because once the CEAC status is "Issued", after 2 days, beneficiary will receive (expect about noon time) an email and sms that it is ready for pickup. What I did was I immediately went to VAC as soon as I got the notice. I am assuming that if it's via LBC, you will also get a notice that it is out for delivery but you will have to wait for another day or two, and the fee is P430. Try to change it in usvisascheduling website if your status is not yet "Issued". You can book a CFO appointment as early as the next day once you get your visa.
  6. Also, I noticed there's this difference of the requirements in the CFO website and the generated appointment document from the CFO after registration: From website: In the appointment document: With the last part causing the confusion. yikes.
  7. Updating this for reference. It turns out, I just needed a little more patience. (Haven't I been patient enough? charot.) June 10 - Interview June 16 - (CEAC) Application Received July 2 - Approved July 3 - Issued July 7 - Email and SMS that my passport is ready for pickup. I went to VAC asap and at the entrance, they gave me a green stub and went to the 3rd floor. This time, it was okay to have my phone and my bag with me. Picking up the packet was a breeze. They just asked for my ID. On my way home, I booked an appointment in the CFO website and their calendar has next day (July 😎 slots so I took that. Getting ready now for the dreaded CFO. 🙃
  8. This could be useful: https://www.google.com/travel/flights with price comparison from different booking sites and price change tracking.
  9. No need to login to CEAC. The K1-FTP letter will be sent via email to petitioner few weeks after NOA2 (3 weeks in our case) then another few more weeks for the physical letter but to the beneficiary. SLEC will need a copy of this. I also brought a copy to VAC but they just looked at it for case verification.
  10. Update: just checked again this evening and the CEAC status now is Application Received.
  11. Wow! that was fast! congrats! 👏🏽 I checked mine on CEAC. On the IV type, I entered my MNL case and it still says 'Ready' but the last case update was June 10 which my the interview date. Whereas with the NIV type, I entered my DS-160 AA number and it said my search did not return any data. I also checked usvisascheduling.com but there's nothing new in the status. I don't know if I'm missing something.
  12. Still feels slightly surreal that my visa got approved and we're like, now what? 😆 So my questions are: 1. When would I likely receive (via LBC) the passport and sealed packet in terms of working days after the interview? 2. Can I make an appointment for CFO now even if I don't have my passport yet? 3. Say I have my passport with the visa, is it easy to set an appointment for CFO? I mean when choosing a date like the next day? It would be a bummer if the available slot is next week similar to that of NBI Clearance appointment. Thanks for the responses!
  13. Hi, I'm not sure if this could be of any help. But according to this: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MNL-Manila.html#interview_guidelines The note states that "Rescheduling is only possible on a date after your assigned appointment." I interpret this as next day. Maybe they just have a grace period that's why it's currently invalid?
  14. Great! Thanks to both of you for the details especially with that same login bit that satisfied my anxious mind. Congrats too on each of your progress! Somehow makes me envious haha Anyway, ingat and regards to your fiances!
  15. Hi, this thread has been helpful. I just want to have some clarity since my current knowledge is that the K1 visa's validity begins from the time of medical so it's suggested to make the medical appt 2 weeks before the interview appt. However, as mentioned above, it seems the bio and usem interview are scheduled separately? And if that's the case, the medical appt should now be taken 2 weeks before the bio? Thanks for anyone who will clarify.
  16. Hi, as for ours, we received NOA2 on Jan 17 and the USCIS case tracker app status was changed to Case was Sent on Feb 6. It was just yesterday, Mar 11, that we (specifically the petitioner's email but was addressed to me, the beneficiary) received notification from NVC that they sent our case to U.S. Embassy in Manila along with an attachment containing our case number starting with MNL. We celebrated this by eating ice cream.
