We had our interview for IR1 visa last Friday. Everything went great, but we forgot to bring my wife's old passport with us, which contained a current US visitor visa. We were told that it needs to be canceled before they can issue the new one and to we should send it in to the embassy. We did all that the same day. Anyone know how long it will take until they review and issue us the IR1 visa? Thanks

My wife has an interview date April 5 for IR1 visa in Rio de Janeiro. Does anyone know if they will ask for a more current proof of income? The income I submitted for the past 3 years was all over 60,000 and I know that April 15 you will need to submit the current tax returns. Will they already ask me for this even though it is a bit earlier? Thanks

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the wait time is for an interview in Rio? We were DQ on 31/1/2024 IR1 Visa. How much time between DQ? Thank you
