Have you received any ceac updates, as I got 3 updates. I had updates week ago when my medical and passport was delivered but again got 3 updates recently.

I am also in the same situation, my passport and 2nd medical results delivered last week, and I got 2 ceac updates and today again got ceac update but status still showed "Refused".

I am not sure which website is Ustraveldocs, i dont think we used this website. We just got a confirmation from UPS that it was delivered.

Sure, I will keep you posted. I had ceac updates on Dec 3 and on Dec 5 yesterday, but still showing refused.

My passport was delivered to Montreal consulate on Nov 27 (UPS tracking shows that it was received by Steve), and 2nd medical result delivered on Dec 3, so I am also now waiting to see status changed to Issued from refused but let's see how much time it will take. It is annoying that this process at all steps put us on waiting mode. Did anyone get visa issued quickly after the passport and medical delivered or is it the 5 to 6 weeks wait time for everyone?

We cannot use the one for Canada post, I sent my passports and photos by UPS on Tuesday and yesterday it was confirmed that someone by name of Steve received the package. But I paid for UPS courier services.

Sorry, it was 2024, not 2014 (typo)! My profession is chemical/oil and gas engineer. I'm working in the oil and gas sector and I guess my chemical engineering background might have triggered the resume request.

Thanks to God, I finally got my long-awaited email of submitting passport and medical. my case details IR5, interview Jan 24, 2014 (my husband and I, we both received DS5535, and I also received resume request, everything submitted on Jan 25) I got today email for submitting the passport and new medical, but my husband is still in AP. I am so happy that I will join my daughter soon hopefully. Please advise me should I use FedEx or Purolator for sending the passport. Any suggestions

Congratulations on your visa. When did you receive the email to request your second medical and passport? Do you remember the date of the email?

Congratulations, can we pick up passport in person instead of mailing option, did you request in person pick up of passport, or they just offer it to you.

Is there any specific day of the week when the Montreal consulate sends emails requesting the passport and medical? I mean do they have to assign any day of the week to respond, for example, either Monday or Tuesday to send such emails for asking the passport and medical? Has somebody noticed it?

Please remove the filter from the spread sheet, looks like someone used the filter for document request but then did not unfiltered it. It is difficult to see in this way that how many cases are still pending. Whoever has access to the excel tracking sheet please unfiltered it.

I did not see my name in the list, as I added right after my interview in Jan 2024, I am not sure who the deleted it. I am still waiting to get clear from DS 5535. My interview was on Jan 24, 2024, and category IR 5.

My case is IR5. I was interviewed on Jan 24, 2024, and submitted DS553 and resume on Jan 25. However, I still have not received any good news or unsolicited updates, although people who were interviewed after me started receiving good news.

Hi, we have been waiting for AP clearance (IR 5) since my interview Jan 2024. We asked the congressman first time in these 9 months last Friday and I saw a case update on Oct 1 (solicited update), but today is another update on Oct 2nd (unsolicited update). I am hoping to see more unsolicited updates but let's see. My question is if anyone else has an unsolicited updates pattern after the congressman's inquiry. Thanks!

We are also IR5, sponsored by our daughter, the interview was Jan 24, 2024. They refused and asked me Resume and DS5535 and for my husband only DS5535, it is almost 9 months, still waiting, and did not get a single unsolicited update.

Congratulations to all those who received their fortunate email of sending passports and medical exams. Wish you all the best. And I wish I and who else is waiting to get this email soon. our interview was in Jan 2024 in Montreal, asked for Ds5535 and my resume as well, still waiting to hear any good news from them.

I renewed my passport, do I have to send the new passport # to Montreal Consulate? If yes, should I send it via email? I would appreciate if anyone share a similar experience of sending new passport # to consulate. Thanks!

My husband and I travelled to USA recently for 3 weeks and returned back to Canada yesterday. I was not asked a single question, while my husband was asked so many questions, they said to him, that your case is pending the DS5355 decision, and why you are going to USA, when returning, proof of return ticket and then let him go as well. We both are under DS 5535 since Jan 24, 2024 and I am even under resume review along with DS 5535 but they did not ask me any question. So, they have all the details of our immigration case and status.
