  1. Well then it is up to a judge to figure it out. Problem is though, is there an unbiased judge left?
  2. I did, I requested my SS# on my I-485. I entered the US in April, got married in June and filed for AOS on July 3rd, My I-94 expired on July 6th I believe. So not sure how long it is going to take but I am in a position where I do not need it right away so I don't mind waiting. The whole 'hurry up and get your SS# before marriage and then apply for a new one in your married name' looked like too much of a hassle for me so I decided to do it this way.
  3. And they should. If it is illegal to pay for 1 vote, how would it not be illegal to pay (by proxy) for multiple votes? When the law was written, there were no influencers, there was no internet. Combine 597 with 594 and I bet a good lawyer can make a case or at the very least the law should be amended to include this modern way of coercion (which it is given the shaming towards certain voters and the average IQ of the people on the internet following complete strangers on the internet for advice) to make it clear for the ones in the back smokin' crack that this is illegal. So although it does not specifically say "thou shalt not pay an internet influencer to spread dis- and misinformation to shame people into voting a certain way", I believe chapter 29 of title 18 gives a path to prosecute with the language therein or AT LEAST trigger regulation. @Pooky I would agree it should fall under a different statute but unfortunately there is no regulation (yet) on a federal level for this: "Currently, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) does not regulate political advertising online in the same way the agency requires sponsorship disclosures for political advertising on traditional mediums, especially on television." https://citapdigitalpolitics.com/?page_id=44 Which is why I believe they need to go after them with what they DO have written in law right now, albeit not updated. This BS needs to stop.
  4. Actually it's worse in this case. They are not paying one person to alter their vote, they are paying a person to influence many votes.
  5. This is illegal and someone should finally be held accountable. Title 18: §597. Expenditures to influence voting Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. (June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 721; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, §330016(1)(H), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2147; Pub. L. 104–294, title VI, §601(a)(12), Oct. 11, 1996, 110 Stat. 3498.)
  6. Dan Bongino is right a lot. I have seen most of his coverage on the assassination attempt. He still has friends inside the USSS as well, he knows more than he is saying most of the time. I believe Trump might hire him in some capacity in his new cabinet. My bet is that they will try to spin that he is an independent or even a conservative, but that the internet will do its job in 3 minutes and debunk it. We'll see!
  7. No, any type of evidence that shows you have a real relationship is safe to bring. At the embassy they will go through it and pick out that which they need and give you the rest back. I had a 3 inch thick package with me because I rather take too much than too little. The lady just smiled and said I was a bit 'overprepared'. The more you bring and show them, even if they don't keep it all, the more you will convince the officer of your relationship before any questions are even asked. I had so much evidence that the only questions I was asked were "Where do you guys plan to get married" and "What type of business does your fiancé have (as we put in self employed) and asked what my plans were as soon as I could work. So take everything you see is evidence of your relationship. I do have to say that my evidence was that my now husband and I lived in The Netherlands for over 9 years so I realize that is different. But doesn't change the fact that you should bring it all. The only thing I decided not to bring was text messages as I think that is too personal and the rest of the evidence was strong enough.
  8. That's true, but I'm living on the edge! Haha
  9. Yes, that is probably why they have to make him the bad guy again with this Laure Loomer BS. Looks like they are out of offence strategies if they fall back to the 'Trump the adulterer' tactics again. What a circus, can't wait for 11/5.
  10. Yeah, when it was free it was definitely a no-brainer. I flew April 8th and I honestly considered flying sooner to avoid the higher fees. But the ticket got more expensive + the hassle, I just decided to get the GC only and leave the rest be. Fortunately I can, I know many others can't. 6-9 months is a long time. I think for this amount of money you should receive that within 2 months. In fact, I think the AP should always be free or have a tiny administrative fee of $10 and it should approved within 2 months. That should be your 'reward' for filing your paperwork and doing things the right way. If you think you have a straight forward case and don't see a lot of problems ahead of you, or if you don't need to travel, I would honestly save the $$. But if you expect that your GC might take a while because of whatever circumstances and it's important for you to be able to travel at least as soon as possible, then go for it. I think that decision is different for everyone.
  11. You might want to revert the changes you made to your phone and change all your passwords...
  12. I decided against it. It is so expensive and would have only been worth it if you would receive it quickly, but I saw some people getting their green card a few weeks or maybe 2 months later. Which is fine if you don't have to pay more than $600 extra for it, but if I pay that amount of money it needs to come quicker IMO. Maybe that will change but so far seems like a waste of money unless you really need to travel ASAP, in that case a few weeks/months earlier may be worth it.
  13. Democrats also want people to forget exactly that, that the United States is a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy. "Donald Trump is a threat to our Democracy". I think I heard that phrase thousands of times by now. IT'S NOT A DEMOCRACY!! As if anyone would want 2 wolves and a sheep voting what's for dinner.
  14. VERY telling. The democrats have weaker and weaker candidates. Clinton was by far the strongest and couldn't beat him, Biden was already declining in 2020 or he might have fooled more people but he did worse (unless you believe Biden had 81 million votes, LOL!) and Harris is literally so bad they just selected her without any voting. There is something up with Biden. Not just lately, but since the start. Biden has helped Trump more than he hurt him and he has kept crucial E.O.'s in place. Sometimes I wonder what the real story is. In fact, sometimes I wonder who the real Biden is! Not sure if anyone is interested, or if you think it's stupid conspiracy stuff. I believe all this stuff is highly interesting. Thought I'd share: https://rumble.com/v51ne0d-is-trump-running-a-clandestine-military-operation-the-roseanne-barr-podcast.html
  15. Oh well, it doesn't matter much anyway. If it's that inconsistent then I am not going to bother.
  16. What do you mean? They don't always send out notifications? In that case it's pretty useless.
  17. Can I still send it separately or is there another way to get text notifications? Not a huge deal but I just had no idea it existed until after I read on it here.
  18. Any updates yet for July filers?
  19. Seems like it's better to just get a hotel in Frankfurt day before?
  20. Well I am curious how your POE experience will be, make sure to post an update here next week and safe trip! Where are you traveling from?
  21. Hey another Dutchie! Where are you from in The Netherlands? I didn't see that either so I didn't bring the tax transcripts either, I send the complete tax returns. The lady did say I was a bit 'overprepared' at my interview. I don't know if they would overlook or not. It's not the official support form, you file that with your AOS. So they might. But you have it so no worries at all. Good luck! It is way less scary than you are thinking right now, believe me! You need to go to Frankfurt now, don't you?
  22. No you don't need a stamped approved I-129F. I brought my own copy of the petition, but they didn't even look at it. The stamped approved I-129F is with the embassy/consulate. You will get that in the sealed envelope after you are approved. That sealed envelope stays sealed and you give that to the officer at the POE, who checks it and sends it to USCIS, who then has your stamped, approved I-129F. So you will get it, you just don't get to SEE it. As far as I am aware you should never have it yourself besides in that visa package. It goes from USCIS to (I think, but maybe someone can correct me) the NVC, then to your embassy, then to your consulate, then in the sealed package which you give to the CBP officer at the POE, who then sends it back to USCIS.
  23. I attached a pdf which says: So looks like either the medical exam showed you have a medical condition that needs a follow-up. Were you given any type of medication? Maybe that PDF has more information, I only did a quick search. The big sealed envelope should hold the answer, but DO NOT open that and give that to the officer at the POE, even when he doesn't ask for it (which in this case seems highly unlikely but you never know). cdc_53440_DS1.pdf
