My bank didn't have anything like that so I added up all of my debits and gave the amount to the branch manager. She typed a letter for me stating something like, "Mr. __________________ has been with this bank since August 2006 and since that date has made total deposits in the amount of $_______." She dated it and signed it.

I had my bank give me my last 12 months statements of monthly total deposits.. She printed out 12 pieces of paper and stapled and stamped it with the bank stamp and signed and dated it as branch manager..

Zandy's interview is tuesday.. do I actually need a letter from her? she told me they couldn't do a letter with the banks letter head.. should I go tomorrow and get something additional and scan and email?

honestly for as long as your ITR is above poverty, its not really as important/necessary to get a letter from the bank... a mere bank statement will be fine in my opinion... some even doesnt have it during their interview and got approved anyways (coupple of my friends)

I belonged to a paid Christian web site Relationships.com and on April 10 2007, I met the most wonderful girl in the world .. and her name was Zandrea and she was from the Philippines. I was a paid member and never thought of meeting someone overseas.. and Zandy was just a member and really didn't have no way of contacting me. But, some how she was able to get a message to me with her email address. I sent her a email and it was a beginning.

To be honest... It was quite rough at the beginning . I have never attempted a long distance relationship before.. and Yes... it was quite a bumpy road for the first few weeks. We worked our way through the first few weeks some how.. and we began chatting on Yahoo IM.. and later.. the webcam. I do computer support for the company I work for.. so being online at work and at home wasn't that big of deal.

Right around the time we started talking, Zandy's Mother was leaving for the US. Her father passed away when she was 18 and her mother had just her Visa to come and be with her husband in Phoenix. They had met a few years before, but he made several mistakes in the petition and it was delayed for well over 2 years .

Zandy had quit her job about 5 years ago and moved back home to help take care of her two teenage brothers and her 4 year old niece. During the first week of talking.. She was offered a job at ABS CBN in Manila, doing work that she had recieved her degree in. She had a very big decision to make... Me and the family or take the Job she has alway wanted and would likely enjoy... Well, as you can see, she decided to stick with the taking care of the family first, and to build our Relationship..

We slowly fell in Love with each other and I started planning on making a trip to the Phils.. I had 3 weeks of vacation left for the year .. I got my passport and planned my flight and hotels ect. I made plans to go in September for 18 days.. but I also planned to go to Phoenix and meet her parents and stayed a couple of nights with them on my way to the Philippines. The night before my flight out to LA.. I sat down with them at dinner and asked for their daughters hand in marriage.... They were so very happy and I recieved their blessing.

The next morning I was on a flight to LAX and to the Phils and spent almost 17 days there... And for the first time in my life.. I've found someone that truly loves and wants to be with me forever. I proposed to her before leaving and gave her my engagement ring and her answer was..... SURE SURE SURE! (inside info)

I was 15 minutes late for my flight to Manila for my medical appointment so I have rebooked my ticket for tomorrow. And just tonight I have my premenstrual period...what am I gonna do???? Why they dont allow to have our medical when we have our monthly period? Do they check us down there? How? do they examine the cervix and everything thats inside there?

Zandy went for her medical today and she still has 1 more day of her _______. She went through the first day ok but was asked to come back Thursday instead of Wednesday

So, from what she is telling me.. you have to be clear of everything before they will do the second day evaluation.

For an update on our AR due to document verification, the Manila Embassy is finally going to resubmit the document to the National Statistics Organization (NSO). On April 2, Grace at the consulate office, changed her story to our verification was not sent till the last week of February and since it has been over a month she would send a request to the person in charge of verifications. This story aligns with what Lorraine had told me and the fact they tried to collect thr doc verification fee a second time at the interview.

However, on April 7th I received word from Senator Durbin's office that the Embassy is resending the document for verification. Since there was a weekend envolved this information came two working days later. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? I am hoping they put a pink sticker on the document this time for quicker processing.

For those not familiar with our case, the document verification fee was paid and confirmed with DELBROS on January 7th. The interview was on February 6th. As of April 3rd, we became the longest delayed Vjer on document verification. April 16 will be 10 weeks since the interview.

The process is full of bugs or poorly run, whichever choice of words you prefer.

Anyone else have any updates?

Same here.. all of you guys that are stuck in Verification Jail.. I pray for you every night. Zandy and I know one VJ'er that is stuck and she is quite worried. But to all of you.. you're in our prayers.

Even a faxed copy will be suitable, so yes, a .pdf will work. However, she needs the originals for the I-134, letter of employment (if applicable), and official statement signed by a branch manager of your bank.

I sent 3 years worth of tax returns just in case. When you send the tax return, make sure it's the entire return, not just a copy of the W-2 and the 1040.

I have this years full 1040 and I had the IRS send me the script from my 2005 and 2006 tax filing.. I was told by the IRS this will work in place of the 1040 for those 2 years.

I received a call today from my congressman's aide. i called his office a few weeks back. my question was why is there such a big difference between processing times at the VSC and CSC. His aide told me she called the VSC and they told her they were currently processing I-129F from 9-17-07. I told her that is interesting because several VJers have submitted in Jan 08 and have been approved.

So not only is the USCIS a black hole where we know nothing about what is going on. They also seem to continue to lie when they gets inquiries.

It's not only January 08 that has been approved @ VSC.. March 08 approvals are starting to trickle in while they seemed to have forgotten other people who filed way back in august 07. I am lucky to have been approved in less than 2 months but my heart breaks for those people who have filed last year and still waiting for approval. It pains me to check our January VSC thread and see that there are still 18 people who are waiting for approval.

I do feel your frustrations although, perhaps I will not know it as intimately as you do. If only I could cast some magic spells that would give an approval to all of you who are still waiting from both centers. It is really sad that there's just no rhyme nor reason for everything.

Pls know that I continue to hold you and Maribel in my thoughts and prayers and I do hope that you and all the others who have been waiting, get that approval soonest.

Just stay strong, and when it becomes hard to do so, try hard to focus on the real prize: A LIFETIME WITH YOUR BELOVED MARIBEL. Same time next year, you will be with her.

Mike, I am so sorry. The Vermont office is on the ball and it's sad that the Cali office is so far behind. The two of you are in our prayers. Zandy always tells me that God has a reason for delays even though we don't understand why.
