  1. Oh great I'm happy for you Next is step is they will forward your case to the NVC. If you don't hear back within 2 weeks you can ask for your case number via public inquiry at NVC. Now it's time to gather the documents for the I 134.
  2. Usually people hear back soon after their rfe response. Did you mention you already had an rfe and responded to it when you reached out to them? I would at least asked if they received the documents they asked for.
  3. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you will hear back soon. Maybe you should contact them with your rfe response details?!
  4. USCIS sent me a note my petition was sent to NVC on April 17th. Any idea when I can hear back from them? I tried to schedule a medical appointment this morning but they said I need the interview appointment confirmation and welcome letter.
  5. I wasn't expecting to be that long in a LDR but if it's the right person you will make it work 😉
  6. Yea our anniversary is May 5th. The lockdown made things difficult for us. But it also made our RS stronger. My fiancé also wanted to visit me in April but then they speeded up the process and we decided to wait so we can hopefully move together this summer. Yea there's a good chance it'll be a final move date for you.
  7. Hehehe, yes. When we started in Dec our estimate was October hehehe. But after 4 years LDR I am so ready for it lol.
  8. That explains the delay. Plus there's a backlog bc of the March Cases. Better FedEx or UPS or at least Express if USPS. You actually count as February 24 not Dec 23. But USCIS works so fast now, so there's a chance you will hear back in June. 🤞
  9. I had that too (Windows). I just filled it out and printed it bc I couldn't save it.
  10. When you send it to the USCIS you usually hear back from them soon.
  11. They work pretty fast. Finger crossed you get approved soon.
  12. They speeded up the process. I wasn't surprised, bc track my visa now told me exactly my position and when to reach front of the line. And it was exact the time they said when I got approved. They even sent me an email before USCIS lol.
  13. No it's not a dream. Congrats! I got mine approved on Tuesday 23.59. So my update is: I-129F sent: 11.30.2023 I-129F received: 12.01.2023 I-129F noticed (NOA1): 12.05.2023 I-129F approved: (NOA2): 04.16.2024 Case Sent to NVC: 04.17.2024
  14. Everyone says something different. I'm just more confused now. Is there any way to close this? I also don't know why I have to explain myself why I fly to Canada.
  15. There is no direct flight and because it is close to the state we need to reach. We have both had several bad experiences in the past when flying to the East Coast. One ended with over 30 hours of bus travel with multiple changes etc.
  16. Ok so I guess we have to get one way tickets so we can fly back together. Toronto sounds good. A layover of 4-5 hours there should be enough I guess?!
  17. Hmmm. Now I'm very confused. From what I understand, TMVN gets its information from USCIS. And here it is only as accurate as the community members update their timeline, which is rather imprecise. And what was important to me was whether I could go through the immigration process at the airport already in Canada before I enter the US. Since my fiancé lives relatively close to the border, it would be a good idea.
