Hi all,
My fiance just picked up his passport with visa a few minutes ago. We are planning to enter the country together ASAP. We’ll be entering in through Miami, which has their immigration lines separate for U.S citizens and non- citizens. I’m wondering if we can go through the line together?

Hi! Can anyone tell me what eventually happened? We just received approval today to schedule the interview but there’s no consulate appointments available! Only VAC. Wondering how long it took all of y’all to finally get something? Any tips?

Hi all,
Our case was sent to Santo Domingo today, but I’m a little confused on the next steps.
I know I need to fill out the DS160, but on the Santo Domingo website it directs me to a website called us travel docs. The fee listed for k1 on that website is $265. I thought the DS160 form was free? Or am I mixing these up?
When do I pay that fee? And if anyone here has experience with the process in the d.r please let me know. From what I have read here, I have to wait for packet 4 and then we will schedule the interview ourselves.
I get confused looking at the Santo Domingo website because it kicks me around to instructions for immigrant visas.

I called and called and called what seems like every civil surgeon in the area and all of them wanted to make my husband redo the entire medical exam. I finally found one who would do it for us. We still had to pay the appointment fee and the form fee ($160 total), but it beats having to pay upwards of $500 for the whole medical. The doctors information is below:

My poor husband didn’t understand me when I told him to get all the vaccines done at the medical in his country. This has been a mess, but we are finally ready to file for AOS! Good luck to everyone :)
