    Hi guys, I am trying to plan ahead and begin to get my next package together. We filed and received our NOA 1 and now waiting on NOA2. Could someone please guide me on what documents should I begin to gather or what forms will I be needing for the NVC? Pls correct me if I am wrong. After USCIS approves the case, they send it to NVC right? do I send anything to NVC? Or when am I required to send documents again?

    Hi, not sure this is the right topic to post on but just wanted to touch base and see if any other couple filed this past February or around and hasn’t heard a thing yet. how long is it currently taking to hear anything after 1st filing for CR1 visa for venezuelan citizen?

    Hi guys, so I e-mailed my I -130 on February 5th. USCIS sent me a receipt notice, and have not been any more actions since then. Approximately how long after you submit I-130, do you get any more info? A month or two? Also, what documents do I need to prepare next?. Let’s say USCIS approves and sends to NVC, what documents would they request next. Trying to get ahead a little and start preparing next needed documents. thanks in advance.

    Hello, I have a question. i am about to submit my I-130 form, however, I am not sure how to pay the $625 fee. I do not see an option to pay with a check and upload proof. can someone advise please.

    Hi, thank you for your reply. Would you mind giving me an Idea as to how to fill it out online and save it as pdf? I click on the link to the I-130A form and it takes me to the form to print it out but doesn’t give the option to edit it/type on it and save it.

    Hi guys, I have a question regarding I 130A form. I am filing online my I 130 form, but not sure how to add I 130 A form(supplemental information about foreign spouse). Do I print it out, fill it out by hand, scan it and attach it? Or, is there a way to fill it out online and save it to my case?

    The other evidence I will have, includes the marriage certificate, a lease of an apartment that we are renting in both of our names in Colombia. pictures of our experiences together. anything else you can recommend?

    Great, that makes me feel better. (About not having the naturalization certificate). I think you are correct, we are better off disclosing all information even if that means more paperwork. thanks a lot for your reply.

    Question, my beneficiary has 2 children in Colombia. When filling out I130 form, it asks to name beneficiary’s family if any, is it better to name his children although they will not be entering the US now? Or maybe leave it blank and save extra paperwork? Does mentioning his children imply extra work/paperwork?

    Question. Once I marry my boyfriend that lives in Colombia, how do I file taxes in the US? Married? But of course we are just initiating the CR1 process and he doesn’t have a social security number. Or should I file single as the marriage has not yet been registered in the US?

    Hi, form I 130 asks for the number on naturalization certificate. I can’t physically locate that certificate, I probably have it misplaced somewhere. is there any other way to find that number? Request a copy of the certificate? Thank you very much!
