Anyone know if we are meant to receive a notification when the passports have left the embassy?

It is now Tuesday PM and the status says administrative processing so I am guessing we won’t have the passports back before Thursday 😢

Yes it would be sooo much simpler you could just walk out with your passport in hand 😅

Hi all, We had our interview Friday morning (15th March) and were approved 🎉 But of course the anxious wait is still not over as we are waiting to see if our passports will be ready to be collected before we fly out on Thursday 😅 Judging from other people’s stories on here, passports are usually ready within 3 working days…but I realize we’re cutting it extremely fine. The reason why we decided to risk it and book the flight for Thursday is because the ticket prices were going up massively from Friday. We booked flexible tickets so it’s possible to change it in the worst case scenario but there are other consequences like car rental and hotel bookings so I really want to be able to fly out on Thursday…! I know there is nothing anyone can do about this so I’m not looking for an advice or anything but what do you guys think? Will we get the passports back by the end of Wednesday??

FYI. we got our IL this month (on Feb 9) so it might be that the next batch of ILs win’t go out until early March now.
