Hey guys. I was reading through the RFE thread and I had some questions regarding the proof to show that I visited my Fiancee. I didn't feel as if a new thread was necessary so I thought that I'd just ask you guys here.
I read about sending in copies of your tickets and such, but I had gotten rid of my tickets thinking that I did not need them. However, I did send in my itinerary since I had a copy of it in my email and also sent in all pages of my passport (notarized) showing exit/entry stamps. If CSC decides to send me an RFE, is there a way I can obtain copies of my tickets through my travel agent?
Thanks a bunch!

^^ Wow that is good news. I still don't want to get my hopes up too much, but still...good news!!!

Nothing new on this side. I've moved from 240 to #228 on the list! I got my NOA1 towards the end of Feb so I'm still under the 90 day mark. It seems like CSC is waking up slowly....keeping my fingers crossed. I was checking out last years approvals and noticed the amount of applications approved in April and May. They can really crank out those approvals if they actually do some work.
Government employees are the same everywhere... "Ahh...I'll get to it next week" - they say that every day.
-
I have only been on this forum for a couple of months, but from reading your posts...I know that you have been very patient with this whole process. You are so supportive of everyone here. I pray that you guys get approved very soon.
I am sure our congressmen and all those people know about the situation at CSC, but is there anything we can do to get them to move any faster? I'm sure if they start getting a ton of complaints they might be pressured into working harder. Of course it could all backfire on us too. What to do?
-
That sucks. Atleast they're working on it though! Good luck.
So CSC has to finish working on the file 60 days after getting a response to an RFE? I did not know that.
-
Yes most definitely. I sure hope they start busting out like...25 approvals a week. They're LONG overdue! I seriously feel for you guys. I've only been waiting 2 months so far. But... my success lies in your guys' success!

Hey guys. Look's like CSC has done some work this week. They've put out 3 approvals!! Here's hoping they continue to increase the rate.
-
They won't find any sympathy from me either....

Those monkey's can probably work faster than the employees at CSC.

I'm seeing October 8th now. Hmm.....
-
The wait sure does SUCK. Althought the wait itself doesn't bother me as much, the thing that irritates me the most is that once we mail our files in...they just seem to vanish. The uncertainty of what the heck is going on is probably the biggest thing we all stress about.
That said, I don't think any of us Feb filers have gotten any touches since we sent out forms in. On a brighter note, my expected date has moved up to July 28th!!! (From August 22nd)
Good Luck!

Lol...I dropped from August 18th to August 6th!

Hey everyone. I was reading the original "Feb. 2008 Filers" thread and man....those Vermont guys are getting approvals left and right. Anyway... I've read all the stories so I'm prepared for the wait.
All I can say is patience is definitely the only answer. Obviously all this has been said before, but oh well!!! No touches here either by the way.
Good Luck!

Good idea for a separate thread for CSC filers. Atleast we can keep track of how they handle our petitions. I myself am hoping that we get approved around October/November. Hopefully it'll happen!!

I signed up for the email alerts on the USCIS website. Do they send emails if the files were "touched" or only when something significant happens?
-
Hey all. Hope everyone is doing good today.
Ok here's what's up. On the G325 and the I-129f forms...her last names do match (the Family name). But on her letter of intent, she has used a different last name although the first and middle names match. CSC has everything and they've sent me the NOA1.
So my question is, what should I do? Should I call CSC and let them know about this? Will they send me an RFE?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks a bunch. 6 months is good.

I had a general question about the K-1 Visa. Do you guys know how long it's valid for after it gets approved?
-
My check just got cashed... yes!! I feel much better now.

Welcome MissingHer, glad to see another CSC. Vermont seems to be working so much faster.
I know the feeling! But I keep thinking "well...if everyone I see is at VSC that must mean that CSC's workload is going to drop and they'll speed WAY up...right?...right?"
Very true, I didn't think of it that way! Always think positive right?

Yeah I keep checking my bank account to see if they cashed my check yet.
I hope everything goes smoothly!!

Hey everyone. I'm very new here on this forum. I sent out my packet on Saturday the 23rd, they got it on Monday the 25th. I've been checking my bank account to see if they cashed my check! I hope everything goes smoothly!!
By the way...this is a wonderful site. Everyone seems to be very helpful here. The guides are great too!!
