yes thats my point. just because they marry a usa citizen doesnt necessarily mean they have immigrant intent. you cant assume right. what if the couple want to live outside usa. if J 1 person comes for re-entry to USA, do they still interrogate them or let them pass thru since they already have a stamp. J 1 person wouldnt even have to disclose they got married. -
how would they know though ?

maybe in the future. but J1 holder intention is to just come to USA and finish the research project until visa ends

J1 visa holder is currently in USA and has the stamp. visa says multiple entries allowed. wants to marry usa citizen but wants wedding ceremony outside usa. can they marry and will J1 visa holder face any issues upon arrival at port of entry ? assuming there is nothing on social media about the marriage. will she be questioned separately or no because she already has the stamp ?
