    May I ask how long it took from your approval letter to getting the welcome letter from NV?. We are also going through Vietnam. Got our approval on the 13th of October but nothing yet from NVC.

      My trip booked months ago with my friends , so I can’t cancel it, didn’t expect the case moved this fast. 
      my case now READY just waiting for the PKT3 from the embassy so I can do a final step then hunting for the interview slot.

      Sounds like a great coincidence. Hopefully everything aligns well together. Keep hearing you spend more time waiting than the actual interview time. Wishing you a smooth and quick interview. Have a fun and safe trip. Eager to hear that you returned home with her.

    Have been reading some horror stories of it taking months. Hopefully I hear something in a week. Feels like we are stuck in limbo until we get a case number.

    Received approval on the 13th. Took a week to receive the physical letter by mail. Currently waiting on a letter from NVC. Hoping it comes within a month. Ready for the next phase to start.

    Hoping for an update by December or sooner. Looks like they are going through ones from almost exactly a year from now.
