  1. US airways and United totally suck. i'm sticking with american. mainly cause all my mileage is there.

my last transatlantic i got upgraded: this long distance relationship is finally paying off!! ;)

Specially when you tell them a little bit about the LTR, no?? Ah... memories.

aaah, yess... they spoiled me... :)

US airways and United totally suck. ...
    On these two:
    • My Gainesville-based (FL) cousin calls US Air "useless air"
    • In 1997, United quoted me a price (for a ATL-YYC ticket) for which I could have gotten a travel-agent's flight to India and then added on a Delta flight to Gatwick--about 4.5x the price of Delta or American ticket.

tell me about it. they once lost our 4 suitcases. the suitcases were in Boston the next day. in the airport at least. we spend 2 days trying to get them delivered (calls are transferred to india for gods sake, those people had even less of an idea what was going on. you talk to a person but just as well could be talking to a computervoice) . we live half an hour drive from the airport and ended up picking them up ourself after 3 days. my god was i frustrated.

  3. Awwwww, thanks Julez. (F)

Someone on another forum has told me about http://www.meetup.com/ which seems pretty interesting. I'm currently working my way through all the stuff that is going on in my area. I think the whole problem will probably resolve itself once I start work but I'm getting sooooo bored on my own here. The first couple of months were fun because I was getting to know the area and doing lots of shopping for our new home etc. but even shopping has started to get boring when I'm doing it by myself! :o

I filed in February the 13th.

    Good luck to everybody.

We just got the approval notice today which is great timing as Natalie is over in the UK for a visit at the moment. Good luck to all those still waiting; I am sure they will have all the February filers wrapped up by the end of this month.

congratulations to the both of you. aint it great to get your NOA2 when you're together?? makes saying goodbye so much easier, knowing it's the last time.

  5. i have no idea how far i've bikes so far. i ride my bike to get to places, work, school, shopping,... i love it. i'm so totally gonna miss that is the US...

in the gym, in just run.

  6. I've read a few things in this thread that have made me nervous - the biggest is that even having boarding passes/stamps/pictures sometimes doesn't seem to convince the adjudicators.

I sent them every single boarding pass my fiance had when he visited. The trip went something like this for him: London-NYC-Cinncinati-my airport. I put all of his boarding passes in order of his connecting flights, both for his arrival and his departure. Are they going to look at those connecting flights and decide those passes don't prove he was in my state (even though we HAVE the boarding pass that puts him in the airport in my state). We also had a passport stamp, but I've been hearing about entry/exit stamps. He only had one stamp, with "WT" signed on it. Other than that, there is nothing else on any of the pages of his passport. Was sending just that one stamp for nothing?

It's so frustrating thinking of what some people will accept and what others won't accept.

if it helps: we provided all the airplanetickets that i still found, sometimes only half off the trip, but, hey it shows something right... a bunch of pics and NO passportstamps (in retrospect, i would have added those). we did have a couple of trips putting us next to each other on the plane.

    we didnt get a RFE.

but i have to add some people add more evidence and do get an RFE...

the WT stamp is your entry stamp (has the date and says it expires in 90 days) and i've never heared of exitstamps in the US, maybe arriving stamps in your homecountry?? but belgium doesnt do that.

sounds like you're all good to me.

    good luck.
