and i thought i left out!

  2. I literally feel sick to my stomach when I read about people getting approved in “21 days???” when I have been waiting almost 11 months. I don’t get mad at the lucky people; I don’t blame them.

I get mad at an unjust bureaucracy that supposedly works for “the people” and yet tells you one thing and does another and doesn’t care about lying to the people it is supposed to represent and serve. It makes no sense at all that new cases get worked on before old cases. A computer system can keep track of application received dates and queue them for processing in such order with no problem at all. It is one of the most basic concepts of computer processing and even manual administration processes as a whole; FIRST IN, FIRST OUT.

I get mad about life/destiny/whatever for allowing two people who want the same thing and are following the same exact path to be treated totally differently for no apparent reason at all. One gets approved and gets to be with his loved one quickly and the other must wait and wait and struggle and suffer.

Then I think about God and that there is a reason for everything, and that all challenges are opportunities to grow, and the big one; that “it is all a learning experience” and that there must be a higher reason or purpose for the separation, and that we must accept our destiny and have faith, and that at the end every thing happens for a reason and will make sense, and that we must be patient and have trust and think positively.

And it all sounded great and inspiring when I used to tell other people. But know that I’m living it; now that it is happening to me; it makes no sense and it all makes me sick to my stomach. All I know is that I have spent another day apart from the one I love. All I know is that it is night again and I wasn't there to hug her and kiss her good night.

USCIS can easily convert you to atheism... you kinda stop believing in god when you see #### like this.

  3. at least at the NVC you feel like your going somewhere with the back and forth. USCIS is just wait wait wait. i dont mind a month or month and a half at NVC cause i'm busy collecting documents, filing new forms, sending in payments, checking status, ect so i feel like somethings going on.

    NEEEEEEEDD APPPPRRROOOOOVVVAAALLLLL! PLEASE!!!

Me tooooo - looking at your timeline(transferred 8/22, last touch 8/29) I think we're both sitting on the same guy's desk waiting for that rubber stamp - come on already!!!!!!!

maybe we can pool some money and send him a tip.. waitingforever is on the same desk too i think. not a bribe or anything, just a.. uh, you know..friendly gesture. some cash and maybe some pictures of his kids just to let him know "hey! their alright if you ever wanna see them alive, stamp the petition" kind of thing too...

  4. WOW, join the club!!!

Your timeline is almost identical to mine- I think they put all of us who filed around 1/11 in the same box and sent us to CSC, hopefully our approvals will come quickly and for those still at VSC hope they get their act together!!!!

wow, identical almost to the day. maybe we'll get approved same day?

    i'll race ya! lol

  5. dont worry about it. i have a friend that went to dominican republic, and finished high school there(3 years) and he was still on his 10 year green card(dad petitioned for him when he was 7).

since he had been out for 3 years, he did need some paperwork, but him and his dad had it straightened out and he got in with no problems.

he just cant file for citizenship for another 3 years. other than that, no problems. i'd do what everyone else said and get to your embassy with documentation of family emergency.
