Basically less than 2 weeks to be sent the biometrics notice. And the biometric date is exactly 1 month after the initial receipt of acceptance. I mailed in the entire packet instead of filing online.

Just checked the documents folder and lo and behold the ASC notice is now there. ASC Appointment Notice CASE TYPE I751 - PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE NOTICE DATE 05/01/2026 Appointment date is 5/21 for biometrics.

Just checked the USCIS account and got this little surprise: Biometrics Appointment Was Scheduled May 1, 2026 That's moving fast....Just need to wait on the mail to see the date for biometrics. However I wonder if that document will be out in the documents tab in the online account....

Filed on April 17, email received stating "Case was received and a receipt notice sent". Checked our USCIS account and found the receipt in the documents tab for the I-751. Receipt indicates this extends the date of your green card expiration for 48 months. Checked the San Bernardino case timeline and it says average processing time us 35.5 months. Looks lije my wife who is Burmese, is in fir a long haul. Her 2 year conditional green card was issued June 7th of 2024. Took just under 9 months for that process. Wishing everyone a speedy journey.

Good morning, It is finally that time to remove the conditions on my wife's 2-year Green Card. In the past 5 months I was promoted in my current job to a location 175 miles away from our primary residence. To save a 6 hour roundtrip drive daily on top of working the position, we decided to lease a work residence near my new office. My wife is on that Lease with me, but we also travel back and live at the primary residence 2 to 3 days a week if my work does not extend into a weekend. Long story short, my wife is not on the Primary residence mortgage as I have not had the opportunity to refinance the house in the past 2 years to add her to the Mortgage or the Title due to the economy. We did change my mailing address so that I receive mail at the new location, however we did not change my wife's mailing address and she is still receiving her mail at the primary residence. Our Bank Statements and such have the new mailing address upon them except for one bank account which still shows the primary residence. Question? When we fill out the I-751 do we list the primary address or the new work address, which will cease in another 6 months when I fully retire, or list it on the I-751. Since we go back and forth and she takes classes on-line from a school near the primary address and then attends when in town, should her address be changed with USCIS. We do live in both places as stated but the primary Address is our home with the mortgage. Do I also need to explain this in a cover letter? Most of our statements as stated go to the work address for ease of dealing with this during the week. Any assistance would be appreciated. Ryan

My wife luckily had a Family member who went back to the Village in Hlaingbwe and contacted the Village chief who is her father in-law. He wrote a letter indicating who my wife is, which listed her parents, address in the village, her national ID card number and included a copy of the government house registration. He then took that along with her ID card and another document indicating she had no birth certificate as no one in the village does or did, and took it to his contact at the Police HQ in the next town over. They then issued her a Police Certificate of Clearance which also documented her ID information and which was stamped and signed and showed the Police emblem in the upper left corner. The family member then brought all of the documents back to Bangkok and we had them all translated into English and then certified by a Notary who is a lawyer and works with the Thai police. We then included all of these documents and written Affudavits of her mother, brother and an Aunt which indicated where she was born and how they knew her as she had no birth certificate. All of these affidavits we also had notarized by the lawyer as well and included copies of their ID cards, also translated, and attached. My wife then took them with her to the interview, we had made copies of all which the Lawyer also notarized for us. Keep the originals as you will need them later on possibly.

GC arrived today in the mail so my wife is now officially a Permanent Resident, well that's what the card says at least.

Update. Today the case status changed to Card was produced. Now to wait for it to arrive in the mail. My wife is so excited, and I am happy this first ordeal is done. Next up in 2 years to do the Removal of Conditions procedure and at the same time apply for her citizenship.

I-797 approval notice was uploaded today on the USCIS website, we also received an Email notifying us of a status change. Now to await the arrival of the GC in the mail. 7 months and 6 days from the day the AOS was received. Not to bad when it also included having to interview.wiahing everyone else still in tge process the best of luck.

Today was the day for the wife's GC interview at the USCIS field office. Arrived at 6:30 am, 15 minutes before the time on the Appointment letter. Walked in through security after being screened and then upstairs we went. Checked in with the Check-in desk, wife then had her photo taken and index finger prints done. I was told the Agent would be out and would take me back first. Waited about 30 minutes and then the Agent came out and called my name.. into the Agents office I went, was sworn in, and then spent the next 45 minutes yes 45 minutes being asked questions regarding this sponsorship and then about my prior one done over 10 years ago. They were concerned about the age gap, but in the end after giving all my evidence the agent was pleased and took me back out to the waiting area. The agent then had my wife follow back and 10 minutes later they both walked out together with my wife smiling. The agent told us we were approved and the card should be in the mail in about 2 weeks. My w8fe sa8d she was asked just 6 questions, the first regarding how my children felt about me marrying a younger woman. My wife answered the same way I did, that age was irrelevant to them as long as we were happy and they can see we are. The other question was about why her daughter did not come with us and it was explained that the father wanted the daughter to make her own decision when she turned 14. The remaining questions were about how we met, how long we have been together, and if I had told her about my ex-wife and why we divorced. At the end of the day, we'll 8:30 am, we left with my wife being very happy and smiling. Still no change in the App.

Congratulations. Let's hope when we go next Friday for my wife's interview we have similar luck

Let us know how the interview went if possible. My wife is in a panic wondering what more they need and want after she had interviewed in Bangkok for the K1 visa, and we submitted all of the same documents for the AOS, except we now had a marriage certificate. I wonder if it's the age difference between us that's the issue or that I was previously married to an Immigrant I sponsored over 10 years ago and that marriage ended in divorce after 6 years.....my wife and I have been together for almost 5 years now.

3 weeks until my wife's interview. Have a stack of photos, all documents, plane tickets, Disney tickets, joint bank account documents and hopefully I will have her on the house title by then. Happy to see folks get the GC without an interview. Wish my wife was as lucky but it is what it is

I-797 came on the mail today. Appointment is the first week of June, but at an ungodly hour of 6:45 am. Lol
