  1. Hello, Im new in this group. I had my visa interview today in Montreal today for IR1 and put me on administrative prossessing under 221(g), gave me a white slip and asked me to complete DS 5535 form through a office.com link. The interview went very well and I was shocked to see the outcome. I have three kids all under 5 with my US citizen husband and totally disheartened with their decision. Can anyone tell me how long is the processing? I will be filling out the form and send it tomorrow.
  2. Got my interview letter for August 7th. Was Dq'd on March 14th. When we initially applied our visa category was CR-1. But it will be more than 2 years we have been married when i go to the interview. Does my visa category will remain CR-1 or will it change to IR-1? Will i have to tell the officer about this?
  3. Hi guys, I have a question about vaccination requirement for the immigrant visa. I don't have my chicken pox (varicella) immunization record but I had my chicken pox when I was kid. Do the immigration medical doctor accept verbal confirmation of the chicken pox or do I need to take the shot through my family doctor? Im from Toronto, immigrated to Canada when I was 16 years old in the year 2000. Also, I have one MMR vaccine record. Do I need 2 record to show or one is acceptable? Do they accept the yellow immunization record card? Does this card need to be stamped? My card only has the doctor signature beside the vaccine records.
