Just wanted to update in case it would be helpful, my father emailed the embassy 6 months later to ask them about any updates and they issued his visa the following week.

I haven’t heard of a UK solicitor being well-versed or trained in US immigration. But, you can get plenty of free consultations with US attorneys..and I am positive they’ll do it over Zoom since you’re not local.

I am not 100% sure when they married but I think I had not yet turned 18. Could this be a factor for the NVC?

We are no longer employing the services of this lawyer unfortunately. It angers me to no end that I could have taken action over a year ago! Thank you for your insight.
