You can apply online, even if you are using the 90-days window.  However, please keep in mind that the computers with USCIS sometimes are in Pacific Time.  Thus, a lot of people apply a few days into the 90-day window just to be sure.  In other words, my husband's window for N400 will open on 09/09/2023.  If we were to apply, we would probably apply around 09/11/2023 at the earliest just to make sure all the computers and systems as past any hours and the date of 09/09/2023.  Otherwise, we could run the risk of getting denied because of submitting it too early (according to the computer).  I hope that makes sense.

Make sense. Thanks for the prompt reply. Appreciate it.

Thank you. I found latest VB for May at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2023/visa-bulletin-for-may-2023.html

So now that my case status is at "Case was sent to the department of state" what will happen if my PD gets current? Will they reach out to me for my spouse interview then?

Which stage do I get to upload my documents and police clearance and medical of my spouse?

  3. Hello,

I-130 F2A GC recently got approved for spouse and 3 days after status changed to:

"Case was sent to the department of state" On xx, we sent your case, receipt number xxx to the department of state for visa processing.

Can someone tell me what it does and is there any action I need to do?

Is this part now called NVC?

What will be the next status change after this and how long will it take for the next stage?
