He does have a job and he rents a place. He also has a car note and all the “adult” bills lol! He’s traveled lately to other African countries but outside of Africa I don’t think so. I will have him attempt to apply.

That sounds logical honestly. Is there anything he could do to potentially help his case that he plans to return?

Hello everyone, I am an American and I had a relationship with a person in South Africa. The relationship didn’t work out although I had filed for a k-1 2019/2020? I think! During Covid we ended up pulling the plug on that. Anyways, I had a baby in 2021 and he’s the father. Long story short, how can he obtain a b1 I believe visa to see his child? Mind you we have no ties as bf/gf , engaged and so forth. I just figured it might be easier for him to come than for me to travel with my kids(3 total) or is his chances slim to none due to he’s in an African country?
