  1. We were able to talk to some1 at embassy by dialing the contact number (not the consulate but normal number) then dialing 0 which normal takes you straight to operator. We asked if we should schedule interview. They said yes and we recieved our email (p3?) that day. Might help you guys, I think nepal just has a low number of k1 right now and we got lucky on interview dates.
  2. VISA APPROVED!!!!!!! What a long journey it's been everyone here is so close! 2 min interview, lots of people in front of my fiancé were getting rejected and making her nervous but our case was pretty strait forward and the consular told her she was approved and to pick up her visa when notified! GL EVERYONE!
  3. my p3 letter stated that any foreign language docs need to be translated and then notorized.
  4. NVC Timeframes (state.gov) This site is pretty accurate, its saying that your case was just created this Monday, and then follow the case review time date to get a good estimate on when they will be done and send it out. then you can check the shipping dates but they will send you an email when they send it to the consulate. keep up the inquiries and you will get more info, don't be discouraged if they make a mistake and say they haven't received your case during a response, they can say that sometimes and when I asked for clarification, I got my case number and everything immediately after. Sounds like you already have your case number so thats awesome. they are really moving fast now! GL!
  5. Received P3 this morning (or my fiancé did). We got an interview date 2 weeks out on September 6th. Scrambling for required documents now. Police record request is out and we were able to schedule medical once we booked an interview. Completed I-134. My fiancé lived in India for a bit and they said they require a police report from any country she lived in for more than a year so this might be an issue to get in time.
  6. Seems like there are predetermined dates when you pay and look at interview dates, my embasy has them 2 weeks out! So pumping the breaks and will wait for my formal letter and gather everything required till then. Exciting!
  7. Joining the ready train!!! Filled out ds160 and trying to pay for an interview appointment. I'll report back if it allows me to.
  8. NVC tracker states this, you can check once u get a case number from the NVC. CEAC (state.gov) Mine was shipped out today as well! Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. I was not in fact provided an interview date.... I plan to pre-fill out the DS-160 so I'll be ready to submit when the embassy reaches out.
  9. Just received our case number as well! States that we will be notified when the case is forwarded to the assigned embassy. First 3 inquiries said received not entered into system. 4th inquiry stated that they had not received my petition yet (received a minor heart attack). Then on my inquiry trying to clear this confusion up I got my case number, invoice ID and Beneficiary ID. So I guess its time for my DS-160! NOA2 - 6-1 NVC Received - 7-10 NVC Case Number - 8-9 Not sent to embassy yet.
  10. Using the nvc inquiry form I asked about my status last week (7/3, 30 days after noa2) and recived an email today confirming they recieved my petition and it is awaiting data entry into their system. I though petitions were being held at the service centers for longer then 30 days?
  11. Approved today 6/1 . Longer then average wait time for us only 10 left in our batch untouched! Lawfully hasn't updated and no emails, just blindly checking uscis case status. Decided to log in this time and saw the message. Gl to everyone still waiting, was worried because mostly rfe's were going out and maybe 2 or 3 cases updated every script run, but it happened finally. Yours will too!
  12. I noticed yesterday the timeline increased :(. 16.5 month processing time estimate. 7 when we filed. Pretty sweet.
  13. I-129 F Sent - March 28, 2022 I-129 F Received - March 31st, 2022 (NOA-1) I-129 F - Notice Date - April 4th 2022 Hello stumbled on this site while patiently waiting for updates on my application. Missed a signature initially but quickly resubmitted and got my notice last year. Recently filed for an expedite request. Confusing process the uscis page does not have a submission for it and the contact number robot did not allow me to either. Ended up chatting w/ a live agent pleading case but it was denied within 2 hours of submittal! So now just waiting. My case was that my fiance has important submittals for Usmle due in September and our original timeline was 7 months which has been pushed to 15.5 now. I argued substantial financial loss but they did not agree. Good luck everyone and hoping for updates soon!
