ABOUT QUESTION NUMBER 36
36. Has Anyone Ever Filed an Immigrant Visa Petition on Your Behalf?
WHAT TO ANSWER, YES OR NO? IM A K1 VISA APPLICANT... IM CONFUSED BECAUSE IN THE VJ EXAMPLE THE ANSWER IS NO,BUT MY FIANCE FILED IT FOR ME RIGHT? SO IT MEANS YES?
The question number 36 means if anyone in the past ever filed a visa petition for you. Your fiance now is not counted for that. You will put No if no one in the past ever filed visa petition for you and only put yes if there is anyone in the past has filed a visa petition for you.

Hello guys,
I bought Namyang E-5 in Oriental Store product of Korea and it ended tasted like a Yakult. hehe.
Buti na lang nakahanap ka na ng kasing lasa ng Yakult
. Masama daw sa naglilihi ang di nakakain ang gusto
Lol.
You really made me laugh after i read this. Hahaha. I'm not preggy yet, but we are hoping this month , hehehe.

Hello,
Thank you. I really , really appreciate your post. Naku, mahilig pa naman aco sa rice. Pero i will try to lessen my rice na. And i hope i read your post earlier, i just bought vergetable oil, sana pala olive oil na lang binili co instead na vegetable oil. Next time, bili aco olive oil yun na gagamitin co. Thank you sa advice na yan. hehe. Sa sodas, wala naman problem kace i don't drink any types of sodas for more than a year na. About junk foods, pringles, piatoss at cheeze curls ang madalas co kainin, pero water therapy aco everyday. I drink more than 2 liters of water everyday. Sa sweets mahilig aco eh. And madalas rin aco walking sa bakuran while playing my cat or doing gardening.
I will do some of your advices especially sa olive oil. hehe.
Thanks a lot.
Shape
Hi Shape,I have 2 years old son and I am not gaining weight.. probably a little but not a lot because I am pregnant right now..
Some people has a different types of metabolism, merong madaling matunawan meron namang matagal.. When we are getting older our metabolism is getting slow.. kaya kahit konti lang ang kain natin eh tumataba pa rin tayo..
This is what Ive been doing for the last 3years in the country where I dont really sweat that much... Dry Summer and dry winter kasi dito.. Bihira ang humidity..
1. I tried to stay away from rice..
Carbohydrates kasi make our bellies big.. kasi rice is number 1 carbohydrates.. Which is not good in a place like USA, or other countries that has no humidities.. Maganda lang ang rice kapag nasa pinas tayo, dahil nagbibigay ito ng lakas sa tin, kasi nga very humid sa pilipinas..carbohydrates is pampalakas..
2..Try to cook without sauteeing the onions and garlic.. THere is another way of cooking without sauteeing, try to experiment it how to.. Ito lang ang ginawa ko, and I also watch my husband cook in his american version of filipino foods..(paano kaya yun..??) When we just got married, when I cook something that he liked, he will say this is good, but how can we avoid the oil?. So when he cook stirfry or what we called adobo sa atin, he does not sautee the garlic and onions in vegetable oil.. Kasi nga daw may sariling oil na ang chicken and meat..
If you cant help sauteeing garlic, try to use olive oil.. this is very healthy for you and your husband..
3. Avoid sodas, sweets, and junkfoods..
4. Try to eat vegetable salad and avoid rice at night.... Iceberg/romaine lettuce, with carrots, cucumber and then just find a non fat dressing.. You can bake chicken on the side or meat para gawing ulam sa salad
At first I do not like the taste of raw veggies, tiill I get used to it.. and felt different whenever I ate rice.. .. Nasanay kasi tayo sa rice.. and if you think about it, psychological lang ang isipin na hindi tayo mabubusog if walang rice..hindi rin pala...nasa isip lang ...Later on masasanay ka rin ng walang rice but of course hahanap hanapin mo rin minsan.. Now a days kasi, when I eat rice once in a while I feel heavy and bloated even the next day, kahit ang kasama ko sa bahay, she realized na nasa isipin lang pala natin ang habit ng pagkain ng rice..
Actually meat is not going to make you fat.. Especially in the US they have lean meat, which is purely beef, wala na minsan taba.. even sa pork nila, they take off the skin and fats.. Meat actually will give you a source of protein..
Higit sa lahat, try to keep yourself moving.. even just dancing, or any move that will make you sweat like walking, even 30 mins a day.. Kasi even the things I mentioned above, we still have to keep our body moving at all times..
Tea is good but I would rather not recommend it.. I read some medical issues about Herbal Tea (for Slimming).
Sorry ha, my post is too long.. goodluck sa iyo.

Our VJ weekend. Thats my husband grilling lol with Robert and Mari with their daughter Kiray, Jeff and Letlet ( taking the picture)
What about walnuts?
while we have the fire going, might as well throw on some hot dogs...hmm, this also seems to give new meaning to " chestnuts roasting on an open fire...."

Thanks for the responses, I'm glad mine is similar to everyone elses. I suppose the SSA office just wasnt familiar with a k-1 visa. I was just worried because the lady at the office said there was an issue, but I suppose in this case I'll just have to wait and see what happens with AOS.
Good luck.

Anyone care to chat, Im there

I knew someone from our town her, had had problem with the I-94 because the immigration officer made mistake typing her name wrong upon looking on the hand written in her I-94.
-
Hi,
My I-94 (departure recod) was only stapled also in my passport. (to be specific on page 18.)
Hey everyone,I've been having some issues getting my ssn with a K-1 visa. when I entered the country on my k-1 visa in June, I think I got a "newbie" border guard, he kept asking for help from his supervisor and what not. He stamped my passport above my visa and then stapled the little I-94 card thing inside the passport. When I went to go get a SSN, I waited over 2 weeks like everyone had told me, so my info would be in the "system" and they still had to talk to INS about my visa. Took almost a month to get my ssn. After we got married, I got copies of my marriage cert. and I took it in to social security, and the lady there told me they had to talk to INS again because they were having an issue with my I-94.
So what do you think the deal is? did the border guard who processed me when I entered the country mess up on my I-94? and if so will that cause an issue when I apply for adjustment of status? Is it normal to just have a card stapled into the passport? or was I supposed to receive more?
any advice or input is greatly appreciated

When I called the NVC they told me our MNL case number
Yes they said that. Just wait at least a week before you call the USEM to set for interview schedule. (Just to make sure that USEM received the papers already from NVC before you make the interview appointment).
-
I called NVC and was told my petition was sent to Manila. Should I call the embassy and ask if they received it? Or should we just wait for them to send a letter? What is best?
The NVC will send letter to petitioner and inform petitioner that they forwarded the papers to USEM. However, you can call USEM also to set interview schedule after let's say a week that NVC sent the papers to USEM.

Green Card Recieved Today Finally
Congrats.

In my suggestion, it would be better to just have all the shots as possible in St. Lukes. It's cheaper in Philippines than in US. Besides, when you pay the medical fee in St. Lukes it's a package already whether they give you 2 or 3 or 4 shots of vaccine.
And the form DS3025 (vaccination report issued by St. Lukes) is very important.
Good luck.
who will fill up the ds3025?
DS3025 will be given to you after you had your medical. It's a vaccination record of yourself from St. Lukes.

do I need a special NBI clearance for my Interview? or would that be the same NBI clearance stating valid for travel to USA?
THANKS GUYS...pLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME

It's just a valid NBI clearance issued by NBI stating travel abroad or travel to USA.
