I also have not seen residency behind VOA as a requirement to transfer the case.

Cairo is from Jan 2024 DQ and Jakarta is June 2025. Her husband is Palestinian and needs an alternative Embassy so he can evacuate.

my case is in Egypt and i’ve been in AP DS5535 10 months, it should take longer for me because it’s a MENA case but there’s backlog and from what i’ve seen even in Canada it’s taking around a year

We are going through Ds5535 with an IV, he had his interview in August in Cairo. We are still waiting for approval.
