Small correction for future readers. There's no I-155 stamp as of 2023. There's a I-151 stamp which is valid for a year. Can do pretty much everything with it, including obtaining SS card, driver's license
It's actually an I-551 stamp but yes, valid for 1 year.
When I renewed mine while waiting for GC, they stamped it on an I-94 card and mailed it to me.

Thank you, TBone!
Just wanted to give a quick update. I was given a case receipt after less than an hour of submitting the form so I was able to get in touch with a live agent on Ask Emma. I was advised to upload an affidavit explaining the situation so fingers crossed it would not cause a significant delay.
Also I'm surprised they're re-using my really old biometrics. They uploaded a letter regarding Biometrics reuse.

With SB-1, I have no idea what your “resident since” date is.
Did you get a new gc after you entered the U.S. on SB-1?
Anyway, if you have an I-90 case number, you can write to USCIS, and explain you think you got the date of admission wrong.
I was told to use my IR1 type of admission on a separate post I made here. No green card issued after re-entering. CBP also took it and I was told to file for a replacement. Not sure why they kept it when it wasn't expiring that year. So this I-90 application is for that case.
Again, thank you so much, I will do that! You're such a great help in the VJ community. I really appreciate it!

1. Did you file online or by mail?
2. Do you have your I-90 extension letter?
Hi Mike, thank you for replying!
I applied online through USCIS form
And I entered via SB-1 last Sept so I only have the I-551 Endorsement. I applied under lost GC. I don't have an extension letter at the moment.

I'm kind of panicking right now. I just paid my I-90 and the case has yet to show on my profile but I believe I made an error and confused date of admission and put the date my conditions got lifted. I feel really moronic right now.
Is my case going straight to the crapper or is there a way for me to contact USCIS and correct this error? Will I be even allowed to correct this once they start reviewing it or am I out 540 dollars? 😔
Thank you and I appreciate the advice.

Hello and hope someone here was on the same boat.
I recently returned to the US after receiving an SB-1. Previous GC is an IR1 and now I'm applying for an I-90 to replace it. CBP didn't give me a new A number but stamped and endorsed my I-551.
On the I-90, I'm not sure what to put in this section:
"What is your class of admission?
Your class of admission is the 3-digit code for the immigrant category under which you were granted your permanent resident status."
Do I use my SB-1 information from here on out?Or do I use the information back in 2011 when I was first granted a CR-1 visa? Thank you in advance for your guidance!

From what I have read on the USCIS website, once they take your biometrics, you can request to receive it in the US Embassy, consulate or DHS of the country you'll be visiting. You still have to file it here in the US and wait for the biometrics appointment. Not sure about the timeline - some say it takes 6-8 weeks to get an appointment.
