  1. I don't. Because Walmart is not allowed here, there are better places to work - places that would be driven out of business if Walmart were to move in, resulting in a net loss of jobs.

What kind of job loss? Small mom and pop grocery stores? Wanna bet they pay the same or less than Walmart? Face it, these jobs pay the same no matter who is offering them. It is just fun for some to pick on Walmart.

  2. They can up here for certain jobs like operator (trucks, heavy equipment), pilot, etc.... at least that's how it's set up here. Other states probably have their own laws in that regards...not sure.

I have a script for vicodent. If taken while I am at work I am just as dangerous as someone smoking a joint. However, I have come up positive for vicodent on my tests and all I have to do is show them my prescription and they let it go. Why should medical MJ be different?

  3. I'd like to know why he keeps trying to convince himself that there is no God.

He sounds like someone that has real doubts about his atheism. He is trying to get others to justify his lack of faith by agreeing with him. Most atheists are content to live and let live. I don't go posting religious stories to convince others to believe as I do. Why else would he go out of his way to make fun of people of faith unles he were having doubts? At any rate, to be doing this during Holy Week shows a real lack of class.

  4. The only reason you don't hear Him is because you don't want to hear. He speaks to me through my soul every day. You can't believe what you don't want to believe. There have been countless times in my life that I have felt Gods presence. All you have to do is believe and He is there. If you reject him then of course you don't hear Him. For your sake I hope some day you do hear and believe.

I have to ask this though. Most athiests are content with just looking at believers and letting them do what they want. You seem to have a real grudge against Christians. Why is that?

  5. awwww

I loved their duet last night. I have new found respect for Haley - I hope she gets what the judges says and makes better song choices.

Was not sorry to see Paul go. I didn't hate him, but it was his time.

Yeah, they make a cute couple. I have always liked Haley. I like her Janis Joplin style. I hope she plays on that some more.

  6. I never "got" Paul. Other than Rod Stewart songs I didn't like his singing style. Casey once again nailed it. I just love Jazz. James wowed me. I had my doubts when he said he was going to do a Sammy Hagar song but he hit that one out of the park. Did anyone notice that Casey whispered "I love you" to Haley when she survived the cut? Those two have really become an item. I think I will take the wife to see the group when they do the summer tour. They are a really talented bunch.

  7. Jackson Subject of Gay Harassment Complaint

A former employee of the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. at the Rainbow Push Coalition has filed a bombshell wrongful termination and discrimination complaint against the civil rights leader with the City of Chicago's Commission on Human Rights.

The complaint, filed sometime last year by Tommy R. Bennett, a regular on the Tom Joyner Radio show and member of Barack Obama's LGBT Leadership Council, includes shocking allegations about Jackson's behavior toward the openly gay staffer including an allegation that the civil rights leader propositioned him.

Jackson has denied the allegations in a legal response that was filed in July 2010 and resurfaced when the Windy City Times published a story Tuesday.

Bennett, 55, claims Jackson ridiculed him in front of other employees and required him to perform "humiliating tasks" like escorting women to Jackson's various hotel rooms, cleaning up after alleged trysts and packing his clothing. It also includes an allegation that Jackson asked for oral sex, according to the claim. Jackson flatly denied each claim in his response.

"The Rainbow PUSH Coalition unequivocally deny Tommy Bennett’s false claims of harassment, retaliation and discrimination," the organization said in a statement released late Thursday, adding that it is "fully cooperating with the Chicago Commission on Human Relations and expect to be fully exonerated."

Bennett worked for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition for more than two years as the National Director of Community Affairs. The complaint states that Bennett endured a string of discriminatory treatment from multiple supervisors, but his protests were met with deaf ears.

In 2008, Bennett assumed the duties of Jackson's travel assistant.

In that capacity, Bennett alleges to "clean his [hotel] room after sexual intercourse with women."

Bennett's complaint requests back and front pay, compensation for emotional distress and punitive damages all to the tune of roughly $450,000. Bennett also wants an amendment to the civil rights organization's non-discrimination policy to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

Jackson, a former presidential candidate, has been married to his wife, Jacqueline Lavinia Brown, since 1962, but has had bouts with infidelity. One affair with a staffer resulted in the birth of a girl in 1999.

He has five children with Brown, including Jesse Jackson, Jr., who represents Illinois' 2nd District in the United States House of Representatives.

  8. The homosexual thing is hardly a scandal. They wouldn't be the first two men to ever have sex.

You know what I mean. No, homosexuality isn't a scandal for most people. I was just wondering about the timing of all this. Did the sheriff find out about the homosexuality, wanted to get rid of them and invent the criminal thing or did the sheriff find out about the criminal thing but didn't have enough evidence to get a conviction and was blackmailing them into leaving or were they just criminals that were also homosexuals? It all smacks of a huge smear campaign to me. It kind of reminds me of one of those movies about the small town rednecks and how they play dirty pool.

  9. Sorry, no bong here hippy. Post as you please, and keep up your cloak and dagger act all you want, but if you're going to conceal your original identity like Gary is, then you can expect people to ask why. I really don't care what your old name is, or that GaryC closed his account and opened JohnSmith2007. It's all quite funny.

I see it takes very little to amuse you.
