  1. If you don't mind me asking, can you please share what questions visa officer asked your dad?
  2. Can you please share your timeline? Thanks My timeline: Consulate: Mumbai, India VISA: IR5 both parents PD: 01/16/23 I-130: 12/16/23 Welcome letter: 12/21/23 AOS, DS260 submitted: 01/23/24
  3. @Queen30 As you will be receiving different case numbers for each parent, so the only option is to file through those case numbers at CEAC. I assume it will be same as USCIS where you file two I-130's and got approval of both the parents on same day. Hopefully, you will get same interview day for both of your parents (which is the most common scenario).
  4. I received Welcome letter for both of parents today. Hope everyone else also starting to get good news about approvals and welcome letter.
  5. Hello everyone, I understand it's not the right thread/forum for this question, and since we all started our journey here on this thread, so I thought I might ask this here. If this is inappropriate on this thread, please lemme know, I will delete this one. Thanks for understanding. I'm preparing in advance for 2 separate I-864 form for their IR5 visa application for both of parents. However, I'm encountering confusion with certain sections and would greatly appreciate your guidance. 1. Part 2: a.) For the mailing address of the principal applicant, should I provide the US mailing address where they will be staying or their current home country (India) mailing address where my parents currently reside? b.) Column 7: Should I input my phone number or my parents' phone number? 2. Part 3: Should I select option 1 or option 2? If I choose option 2, do I need to enter the names of both family members? 3. Part 6: This section is particularly confusing. I am married and live with my wife. Although I have sufficient income alone to sponsor my parents, but I file taxes jointly with my wife. a.) When filling in column 7 of Part 6 for income, should I input my income only? b.) In column 20, should I mention the total household income, which includes my wife's income as well? Should I also file I-864A along with I-864 since we file taxes jointly? I understand these are quite detailed inquiries, but any assistance or advice would be immensely helpful. Thank you all in advance for your support.
  6. Dear Forum Members, I recently received approval for two separate I-130 applications for both of my parents and am now in the process of filing 2 separate I-864 form for their IR5 visa application. 7. I checked again this afternoon, found approval notice for both of my parents in the documents section. 🥳
  8. Congratulations!🎉 Hopefully I will get mine soon. PD 1/15. 🤞
  9. I saw a lot of cases got recently approved specially with PD around 11/7/2022 and Approval date around 9/23/2023. Looking at those timelines, it looks like average time of approval is between 10.5 - 11 months. I was trying to look at my case status again (obsessed), but USCIS server was down.
  10. For one of my parents it is now showing estimated time until case decision: 3 months. For other progress is same "Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action."
  11. Processing times for both of my parents changed to 2 weeks for one and 2 months for another. Hoping they both get processed at the same time.
  12. Financial information/ Sponsorship info will be submitted in next stage that is when you apply for NVC.
