The reason i asked if i should cancel, is because I have a few people that applied in February and have already been approved and came already. Meanwhile, I applied end of January and nothing is happening. I'm not sure if the state matter or if there's a certain time in the month people should apply.

Well, it all depends on the strength of paperwork you submitted. Until they give you an answer, don’t negotiate against yourself. Furthermore, you can add “unsolicited evidence”, if you feel you would do things differently next time you apply, submit an addendum as unsolicited evidence.
myself, when I applied for 3 people on Jan 10th, 2 got confirm notices on Jan 12…I had to wait until February 13 for the 3rd one. When I called I was told to wait.

    Hello,

Can you please help out? I applied for 3 ppl since January 28th and still no approval. I want to know if i should cancel and reapply. I'm not sure if I did something wrong in the application. I need help. please

Do not cancel. Literally just wait. Remember, it’s 30k per month for 4 countries. The sooner you get in the line, the better. Canceling and reapplying will only get you further back.

Hi can anyone help me out here I’m so desperately trying to bring my Haitian mother from Haiti to the United States but I am not a citizen. I am just a permanent resident on a green card. Is there a way that I can help her get refugee status?

    Thanks

You should start with the Biden Parole.

  4. I am getting ready to travel to Haiti to pick up my beneficiaries due to the I-134A being approved.

American Airlines just sent us the following question to which the beneficiaries must reply “Yes” or “No”.

”Are you a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, U.S national or non-U.S. citizen traveling to the United States on a qualified immigrant visa? “

For those of you who have successfully gone through, did you have your beneficiaries choose “yes” or “no”?

    please this is URGENT.

Thank you Kind Internet Strangers 🙂

I agree there is more visibility on K1, however that's probably even more frustrating because I see people getting approved who applied 14 months ago, where my case has been sitting for 15+ months and feels like they will never touch it. My NOA1 date was Oct 18 2021, and it's difficult watching all these November 2021 filers getting approved.

I just meant that as a figure of speech. I am right there with you on not really hating anyone in particular.... But this immigration process is beyond frustrating.

Frustrating it was pal! Happy to report we making progress on our end. Indeed, Submitted I-134A on January 10 for 3 people. Got a confirm the same day for 2. Since they all had to travel together (sister and 2 kids), we waited about 1month (January 13) to get the last confirm. We submitted cbp1 last night (Feb 14) and received travel authorization today. Buying tickets now.
    many updates on your side?

Oh lordy. thank you for that info; that's good to know so I can relay that info to my friend as she prepares to do her part. You truly are a good helper as your name implies ☺️

The only issue you should expect is, when they download the app, make sure their internet is strong (I had my sister close any webpage she had open and make sure no one else is connected to the internet). Furthermore, to log in the app, they’re going to ask a 2 factor authentication. We chose the one that generate 10 back-up codes at a time.

each time you use a backup code to access, they’ll give you time to do as many attempts to take pics, after so many failed attempts, they log you out and you have to use another backup code to access.

Moral of the story: if you are using backup codes, once you get to the 9th, have them use a computer to log in to create 10 more so you have enough codes to do as many attempts.

sorry for the long post. That was just our experience.

amazing! was there ever any trouble with uploading their selfies/pics to the CPB1 app? i'm in a whatsapp group for people in Nicaragua and word on the street is that the previous version should be downloaded due to some technical issues with the most recent available version.

Yup! There is this crazy issue with app versions. We used the 2.30. We spent ALL day long yesterday trying to take pictures. They tried inside, it’s too dark inside. We go outside , outside in the sun, app asks to go somewhere with more shades. We ended up spending $150 on professional photographers lightnings for it to work. Once we got the right lightning, the app worked.

    Buenas noches,

Helped my folks file 4 I-134As for our family-friends today (2 adults and 2 kids). Took our friends about 2 weeks to renew their passports in Nicaragua. I'll keep coming by with updates as I too am seeing some crazy-fast approvals as well and am curious how things will play out.

    Evidence docs submitted :

3 years personal tax return transcripts

3-consecutive personal bank account statements +1 2022 end-of-year retirement account statement to show a total of $250k in assets available. Statement from bank official

I did only 1 year. All 3 of mine got approved. Good luck!

    Good morning,

Swinging back around to report that my parents were approved as sponsors.

9 business days or 13 calendar days

Submitted Feb 2 and our friends/beneficiaries received their confirmation emails today. WIll swing back again to report how long it takes between the CBP1 step until receipt of authorization to travel

joining this thread to see how the process goes for others, and gain insight with this!

My parents agreed to sponsor a family that we've known for over a decade from Nicaragua. Waiting for their passports to finish the renewal process before they submit 4 I-134as (2 adults, 2 kids). I walked my folks through the application as much as I could along with the best way to write in the statements explaining how you will support them.

Anyone have any insight regarding: sufficient assets. They are self-employed farmers that run most of their income through the farm. So, on paper it seems like they don't make much money. We were trying to figure out how do we tie together them with their farm LLCs but at the end figured out that we didn't need to. Thankfully the combined assets between my mom's 401k and their personal account is 250k. If I understand correctly should be enough assets to satisfy USCIS without involving the LLC's etc.

I like to be 110% prepared and a little paranoid lol. If we would need to use their businesses to further prove up assets, what's the best way to show this on paper? My initial thoughts are:

Business letter signed by them affirming 100% ownership? (what else would show this? letter from their tax guy?)

    Business tax returns (all pages)

Business bank statements + signature cards

    ...?

250k should be enough. I wouldn’t worry about the business letter. If push come to shove I’d get the business tax returns and business bank statements ready.

Im not sure about what the business letter signed by them affirming 100% ownership would do since it’s an LLC and not a sole proprietorship. Maybe you meant the EIN confirmation letter from the IRS.

Your parents are very generous supporting this entire family, blessings on them!
id say submit i134a application as soon as possible since the line is getting long.

    Good Luck!

I applied for 134a on the 6th at around 4:30 PM.

What I am about to say might not be true... But What I understood is that they are generally going in order. However if a person submits one application on say the 6th at 10am, and then submits a second application on the 8th, and then a third application on the 9th.... Then when the first one gets its turn then it pulls in all the subsequent applications since they are all tied to the same person. This is a way of cutting down their workload. If this isn't true then I hate uscis. I probably hate them even if it is true. My cases are super straight forward and if someone there gave me like 5 minutes of their time my fiancée would have been approved months and months ago. Yet here I am just waiting to be reunited with my family, while these people at the USCIS are a disorganized mess. Super frustrating.

Funny thing is I applied the 10th for 3 people (mother and 2 kids)….the next day, 2 people got confirmation notice but not one of the kids….I’m not sure when she’ll get confirmation notice because she’s a minor

Hi, can you tell us when you submitted the I-134a application for them? Date and approximate time would be really helpful. Thanks!!

January 10. Around 8pm. Woke up in the morning with e-mail stating action was taken on my case same day. I received a Receipt Notice &  a Confirm Notice for 2 people each. 3 person only had a Receipt notice. Still waiting for Conform Notice for 3rd. All on January 10th.

No way you got a letter from a bank officer and a home appraisal in one day! I just spent two days getting the paperwork together. I can't submit I-134A until the banks open on Tuesday, to get the letter from a bank officer.

Certain people don’t need home appraisal since they may not need assets to prove ability since they may have enough cash in the bank.
I applied for 3 people at a time and got 2 approved since January 10.

Record time I know but everyone’s situation is unique.

  14. Rien n’arrivera à ta forme I-129f l’ami.

Nothing will happen. It doesn’t change your I-129f.

    Per USCIS.gov FAQs:

Q8. I understand that having a pending immigration case with USCIS will not make me ineligible for the process; however, if I am paroled into the United States under the process and my pending immigration case is approved, will that impact my ability to adjust status at a later time?

If you are paroled into the United States under the process and have a separate immigration case pending with USCIS, your ability to adjust status will not be impacted directly by your parole under this process.
