WE finaly got the ISSUED update for my second stepson's case this afternoon.. on October 23rd after I requested a Senator review our case, my stepsons mother was sent a letter to send passport.. Still nothing until I emailed them on Monday, then here we are on Thursday they have issued the visa.. 90 days after his interview.. Praise be to JESUS for giving us patience thru this process..

i wish i could ask this in the Bahamian portal, but alas, here we go..
My husband is a US greencard holder from Jamaica. He has a 3 yr old daughter that was born in the Bahamas but does not have a visa, however she does have a Bahamian travel document. I understand Bahamian nationals are allowed entry in the US without a visa if they pass a preclearance procedure.. I would like to know for a minor child to be eligible for clearance, does the parent have to be a Bahamian national as well?? What exactly will be the requirements?
