Thanks for your response. I think your post got cut off?

Yes. I would make sure each package was separated.
Do you mean each form is separated? Would a binder clip used to separate each form be ok?

Each form is a separate entity. Each form requires its own full support documents package.
Thank you. Is it ok to submit all three forms I-485, I-765, and I-131, with their respective supporting documents for the Principal Applicant and Beneficiary, all together in the same envelope?
-
If I file I-765 and I-131 together with I-485, do I need to provide separate supporting documents for each form given that they appear to be processed separately?
I.e., 3 separate cover letters, 3 copies of Passport, 3 copies of I-94 arrival/departure records, 3 copies of I-797 I-140 approval, 3 copies of current visa status etc?

Then you are correct
Thank you so much. Technically, I didn't withdraw my IV application, but rather, switch to AOS.
So, would I indicate "withdrawn", or "Switch to Adjustment of Status" in Item 3?

Have you completed the NVC stage following I 130 approval .. this includes the Ds260 which is the application for an immigrant visa. If you have not reacted that stage then the answer is no
Yes, completed NVC's DS260, paid all fees, and documentarily complete. But awaiting Interview Letter invitation.

If I switch from Consular Processing to Adjustment of Status, how would I answer this question on Form I-485, Page 4, Part 3?"Item 1. Have you ever applied for an immigrant visa to obtain permanent resident status at a US Embassy or US Consulate abroad?Item 3. Decision (for example, approved, refused, denied, withdrawn)Item 4. Date of decision (mm/dd/yyyy)"I believe my answer to:Item 1 = "Yes"Item 3 = "Withdrawn"Item 4 = same Date I sign I-485Would these responses be accurate?

No.
My middle name is the problem, her last name and my middle name has a wrong spelling.
And I do not know how to start with this. Coz my documents are based from my birth cert
Name change document -- Deed Poll. You can find many lawyers to assist with this in Singapore.

thank you for the hopes.
the clinics are not accepting still e-processing.I am sure that they are aware of that so I wouldn't worry. Did they give you a deadline whereby you have to submit those documents by?

From my understanding, this is not really a flat out denial. The officer just requires the above documents requested, before they can further process this case. Better to think of it like a temporarily denial, I guess.
1) Medical Report
2) PHIL (Philippines Police Certificate?)
3) SING PC (Singapore Police Certificate?)
4) Proof of Identity (and Name Change Document if she changed her names)
Quote"Is there something I can do about a refusal under section 221(g)?
If your application was denied because documentation or information is missing, you can provide the missing documents or information as soon as possible. After submitting the documentation, your visa application can then be processed to conclusion to determine whether you qualify for a visa. You have one year from the date you were refused a visa to submit the additional information. Otherwise, if you do not provide the required additional information within one year, you must reapply for the visa and pay another application fee."

Aside from medical, my mom did not get a police clearance from the year (the very beginning)she lives in Singapore. And also a spelling problem on my birth certificate. It says REFUSED on the visa status.
Did your mom's application get refused? Or just put into Administrative processing?

if you dont mind, what job did you apply for?
I'm a doctor already practising in the US on a visa. Applied for Consular Processing as I was told that this would be quicker than Adjustment of Status.

I have been contacting the Consulate but they say that NVC is the one responsible for scheduling interviews. I have been DQ'ed since October 2022 but haven't received IL yet. Anyone here with EB petition?

NVC schedules the interview based on the available dates that SG consulate reports to NVC. From what I read, NVC will assign interview based on first come first serve. But no idea if there is any logic in prioritising family based vs employment based.
You've been DQ-ed for quite some time right? I'm surprised you haven't been assigned an interview date yet. Maybe there's a backlog of employment based cases
Yeah I have been DQ-ed since October 2022. I'm surprised too. I am not sure what to expect as they have already sent out invites for March and we still have not yet received our IL.
-
Is it the Singapore Consulate or NVC that schedules interview?
I’m confused as I reached out to SG Consulate to inquire about my interview and they said that NVC schedules that. However we know that it is SG consulate who tells NVC when to schedule interview. Seems a bit of a round about.

I emailed Consulate about the interview and it is confirmed.
No medical exam yet.
So you’ll have to go for the interview but wait for the medical in the interim?

For CR1/IR1, the I-130 petition requires us to indicate which country we will interview at. I suppose that's where that field comes from.
No I haven't got an interview date yet
Ok. It seems like the IR1/CR1 cases are prioritized and triaged very quickly, so I expect that you will receive IL within 1-2 weeks of DQ.
Other cases like EB appear to be taking much longer

I have a question about the medical fee to the physician. How can my mom pay for her medical, is it through credit card or cash is possible? Please advise.
I forgot how did I pay when I had mine processing IR visa
I'm sure that they accept cash, credit card or nets.

the 2/21 is interview date. I got mixed up your IL .
This seems super fast. Did you expedite her case by any chance?
I was DQ'd in mid-December 2022 but haven't received my IL yet. But I am also Employment based petition so probably lower priority than Family based petitions.

How to Switch from Consular Processing to AOS? [merged threads]
in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas
Posted
My I-140 petition under EB2 NIW has been documentarily qualified and at NVC since October 2022.
I relocated to the US on an O1 work visa 4 months ago, and now intent to apply for Adjustment of Status instead as the Singapore Consulate appears to have a severe backlog for EB cases too (except EB3 which they are prioritizing).
Besides submitting my I-485, I-131, and I-765 to USCIS, is there anything else that I have to do to move my petition back from NVC to USCIS?
Should I contact NVC on their public inquiry form to inform them of my intention to switch to Adjustment of Status? Will this speed things up or confuse the situation when USCIS reaches out to NVC to pull my case back and risk potential loss of my petition?
Should I indicate this information of switching from Consular to AOS on my I-485 cover letter?
Thanks.
