No Objection Statement for Waiver of 2 Year Home Requirement

I had a no-objection waiver myself, however my field of study allowed exemption. I believe medical professions cannot be exempted with the No-Objection. This is an excerpt from the DOS website: "U.S. law does not allow foreign medical physicians to request waivers under this basis if they acquired J-1 status on or after January 10, 1977 for graduate medical education or training."
