Your most recent follow up email in May was a genetic one or you asked anything specific ? Because you started seeing updates sometime after that as per your post.

I was talking about RCMP clearance. Not sure what you mean by passport. I already got my passport back from Mtl.

It is the same thing. We all receive emails from the same team.

when you receive a response from the embassy usually in the signature of the person responding it says OP03 Consular section. As if it is a department code in the consular section

I got fingerprinting through a local company and they send it out. I found it to be the fastest as I got it back in less than 2 weeks.

It takes less than 2 weeks. I applied recently.

I had the same kind of update with an email two days later and another CEAC date update. I believe that just means that they just open your file on the day they send you an email.

yes, you have to pay the fee before your journey. crossed in Montana.
