  3. CRBA issues,, domicile records of the USC biological father..*read my previous topics before sad but true*... -- so my last sort was cr2 follow to join.. =] the child is not carrying US citizenship yet not until Sophia get here in US and applies for n-600 citizenship child act .. so Im not sure if my mom who is her legal guardian has to attend on her behalf.. and somehow I am confused about this http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com...7&Itemid=77

    ★ ★ T H A N K Y O U E V E R Y O N E ★ ★ ---- HOPEFULLY THE PINK IS THE BIG SIGN OF APPROVAL AND VISA DELIVERY-- just so paranoid that mama just paid for the fees to return her passport without her visa.. =]

  4. ★ doctor gave sophie temporary pass Since she was still confined in the hospital, so she can still have her physical appearance in the US Embassy -- My mom brought sophie with her and told me that waited around 40 mins before she was called in, with the Filipino pre-screener questions are

1.) what is the childs' name?

    2) date of birth?

    3) parents name? date of marriage?

and they requested couple of pictures of the family (Me, Mario and Sophie)

    ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

    American Consulate:

    1.) How did parents met?

    2) Confirming if Mario is natural born US Citizen--

    3) What State? ( NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA )

    ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

and now the QUESTION is mama, didnt asked whether approved or not? but mama received Pink slip..they kept the passport of sophie and ...asked them to go register for Air 21 fees..and the person in charge gave mama, the pre-departure instruction IS THIS THE SIGN OF APPROVAL? AND second... does a minor child needs to have the cfo stamp?

  7. my aunt has a son: whom she petition august 1997. and then the son was issued an MNL case no in the same year after the it was forwarded to the NVC. however upon checking the status on the NVC ivr system it says the petition has been forwarded back to USCIS.

issue: during the petition aunt was only a green holder and during the immigrant process, my aunt got naturalized .

    aunt- appx 55 years old

    son- appx. 30 years old

** question whos department should they contact to upgrade the petition? USCIS or NVC. and what documents should be provided. thank you

  8. I found this.. If you filed a petition for your spouse when you were a lawful permanent resident (LPR), and now you are an U.S. citizen, you must upgrade the petition from family second preference (F2) to immediate relative (IR). You can do this by sending proof of your citizenship to the National Visa Center (NVC). To prove that you are a U.S. citizen, you can send:

    * A copy of the biodata page of your U.S. passport; or

    * A copy of your certificate of naturalization

HOWEVER WHEN I CALLED..nvc it says the case was forwarded back to USCIS.. so i dont know whats next to do

  9. this is for my aunt: she has filled I-130 for his son around in August 1980 and got approved Sept. of 1990 USCIS however that time during the petition process my aunt was only a green card holder and around Sept 1990 my aunt became a US citizen ...and from there on the case didnt moved because of the situation. I wanted to know whats the best option whether if I should start on on a new case which is IR petition or continue with the same old petition and just do an upgrade. Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you
