  1. All, I have a question, I paid the IV fee online and its paid for now! I have the option to generate the Coversheet right on the page. Do I send the DS-230 now or wait for the appropriate NVC automated message to send the DS-230 forms? Thanks.

    Hi,

Yes you can go ahead print the cover sheet online and send in the documentation for DS-230. You do not have to wait for the message to change.

  2. Thanks for the info kitty! Seeing that hheave67 got NOA2 for I-129f got me to thinking about seperating the CR-1/IR-1 filers from the K3 filers in the timeline b/c they are 2 different kinds of visas. We used to not accept the K3 filers info here on this timeline, but encouraged them to create their own timeline in the K-3 section, but somewhere along the way someone starting adding them so I came up with this idea:

    CR-1/IR-1

    Member Name --- I130 Sent --- NOA1 ----- (CSC) ----- NOA2 --- Days To Approval ----- Link to NVC Timeline

Members filing for CR-1/IR-1 and using CSC here

    Member Name --- I130 Sent --- NOA1 ----- (VSC) ----- NOA2 --- Days To Approval ----- Link to NVC Timeline

Members filing for CR-1/IR-1 and using VSC here

    K-3

    Member Name --- I130 Sent --- NOA1 ----- (CSC) ----- NOA2 --- Days To Approval ----- Link to NVC Timeline

Members filing for K-3 and using CSC here

    Member Name --- I130 Sent --- NOA1 ----- (VSC) ----- NOA2 --- Days To Approval ----- Link to NVC Timeline

Members filing for K-3 and using VSC here

I thought something along these lines might be good b/c then the K-3 filers are seperated from the CR-1/IR-1 filers, but at the same time both groups can look for comparison of dates, etc. As it stands now, you would have to look up the members name to see what kind of visa they are filing for so this would make it a lot easier for ppl. Anyways, let me know what you guys think about it or if you have any better suggestions or if you want anything else added to it or you want me to leave it the same. Thanks.

It's great Eresh!!! Thanks for doing this.. it helps us all. :luv:

Some good news to share !!!!:dance::dance::dance:

Our application for I-130 got approved from VSC yesterday. Received the email. I applied on Dec-18th 2007. I also sent an I-129F on Jan 1st 2008 and that is also touched but that is not approved yet !!!!

  4. Yesterday I was on the call also. As I was asking I do not see a difference between a H4 and K3? H4 is a non-immigrant dependent visa and K3 is also a non-immigrant dependent visa until they come and apply for AOS. If a H4 is not a security risk and they can accompany the spouse to USA how come the K3 cannot?

How is this different? The administration says they are pro-family/pro-life. There words do not match their actions. The only reason I can see that I am getting screwed is I am a US Citizen !!!!!

And we are all individuals with no lobbyists working for us...... and no big company's behind us.

I am planning to send letters to the President, Vice President and to the heads of the congress just to vent my frustration and their discrimination against us. Hopefully they will have sometime to look at my letter and realize that they need to match their words with actions.
