MY cosponsor is employed with an university .She says she cannot give an employers leter as its too hasslesome to take out.What can i do about that???

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnishroom and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lumpsum, weekly or monthly, and for how long."

can my cosponsor write that she would help me thru 3 years in both money & housing whatever needed ( without specifying anything particular ) ..........

what all documents my fiance need to submit along with I-134 as she is self emplyed .........

Bank statements ( how many years and shd they be notarised too ?? )

I-134 notarised

Last year tax return

Asset documents like for house ( hope i can show photocopy of those and notarised )

I really got concerned and want all of your advice on something about finance. MY fiance for USA is applying for K1.Now she has to fill the I-134 for me . I ama bit concerned abot her incoe things. She is self employed and last year income was gorss 30K but but had 22k in deductions..the year before that it was 15K. Now 30K is gross income for 2006. For 2007 it wd be 18k gross.She operated at a loss so didnt have to pay much tax.

NOw she is publishing herbook and she has a sponsor for her book.She has assets with her home and car which wd be 1,30,000. Wd her I-134 be okk ?? She has no dependables ...or we have to look for co sponsor.

$130,000 in assets is enough. She should show documentation for income and assets.

I agree that this is a case for showing income and assets. She'll need to document the assets though, which could mean appraising a home etc.

So she can pretty show her income for 3 years and tax payments for 3 years and that wd do ?? No need of any cosponsor !!!!

No, she'll need to list her assets and document them as well.

a ) Foreign citizen provides Completed 4 page G-325A, letter of marriage intent, and passport photo. US citizen handles the rest of the petition.

b ) NO I-134 is needed at visa interview.

c ) YES, USCIS only needs copies of evidence, NOT the originals.

Also, at petition time, you don't need to send a lot of relationship evidence. You can save that for the interview. What you need with the petition is evidence you were together in person some time in the last two years. Passport stamps and boarding passes will usually do that quite well.

ALso ....no I-134 during visa interview ....so I-134 is to be sent when Beneficiary sends completed Forms to U.S. Embassy...And US citisen doesnt need to submit I-134 ..........right ????

My question here may be very silly and basic but I am really on the way to learning things.Me and my fiance is on the verge of applying for the K1.I am from India while she is from US. I had 3 queries :

a) She submits basically 2 forms ........... the I-29F and G325a.ANd when she sends me she sends me she sends I-29F, G-235a and I-134 . Does she needs to submit I-134 too when she is submitting inher service center ??

B) As evidence of relationship she is shwoing all that she can.Now form thebeginning of the relationship i used to call her from India so all phone bills are mine.So while she is applying does she need photocopies of my phone bills and copies of my plane tickets to USA ??

c) If she needs copies of my plane tickets wd a scanned pic of the tickets sent to her by email wd do ??

I am from India and about to apply for K1 with my fiance in USA.Now as I am a newbie I have some basic queries.Hope some wd help me here .........

a) Whats the approx time it takes for K1 from India ??

b After applying for K1( means after she applies first from usa and then its comes to me ) , by when wd I be able to get in USA ( means after how many months after we start the process ) ?? my fiance is already impatient and its hard really .

c) After getting in USA , by when can you start working ??

So apart from the plane expenses etc the absolute necessary things are as Jessy G suggested :

$500 : I-129f (petition)

$200 : visa fee + medical & misc.

$1000 : Adjustment of Status (required)

$500 : Overhead (shipping documents, faxes, photo printing, notary, etc, etc

so total $2200 ??

does the above include

$340 - New EAD if have not yet recieved GC

$545 - Removal of Conditions

$675 - Naturalizaion

I am from India and already met her in USA. I am in India now and we are planning to apply for K1. We have all the evidences printed out and ready as a album.

I wd start the K1 and apply for it ........ i am reading the guidelines........but can someone tell me whats the total expenses for the k1 process........... can some give an approximate ......... i am at India.....
