We have an exciting update with my EAD approved as per the 13th of Feb, which coincidentally is my birthday - what a great birthday gift! 🎁

It has still not updated the status on the USCIS case tracker as being approved, but I found the approval notice under the documents tab, active from the 13th, notice created on the 15th. Looking forward to receiving the approval notice in person and the card of course.

I have a question, as I can see lots are receiving their combo cards. The document title states 'standalone approval', which I assume means that it is only for the I-765, and not the I-131 combo (also there is no update/approval under that, which would cooperate that it is standalone').

Just wondering if others had a similar situation - regardless, just so happy to have some movement and an approval!

    Best,

    R

Congrats! My husband had the same thing happen. No other updates since then on his green card application.

Tbh, I am just happy we got his EAD at this point.

    Hope that helps!

2 hours from the door to the USCIS support center, just arrived and they went ahead and let my wife in one day early after she explained I worked tomorrow. Now waiting for her to exit.  I hope submitting the 1099R, doing a new I-864 and listing my houses title certificate and my Roth IRA accounts along with bank statements satisfies them.  The issue of support is not for retired folks who have just an un-taxed pension apparently.....

Made the address change online since they swapped the order of 2 numbers in the address when they uploaded it. Funny how we received the NOA's with the right address....

Can I just upload the RFE info? Or do I need to mail it?

    Glad they let her in.

I would check the RFE. If is says to mail back evidence, do so and make a copy of everything you are going to send before mailing it over

Making the drive in 30 minutes.  Will let you know.  For the RFE - Additionally, my total income looks low to them as I am on a Medically retired pension of which only a small amount is taxed, and so it seems that I make less than I do.  They did not bother to look at the Pension letter which is uploaded or my last 3 three pay stubs I included.  I think I need to upload the 1099R and a letter of explanation, as well as  including my current home as an asset.  Do you folks think I need to upload the last three months bank account statements?

The bank statements may help so it may be worth a shot

Still waiting for the mail to deliver the RFE the case tracker says was mailed on the 14th of November. Still have not received the access code in the mail either......sigh.  I tried the USCIS request program since we have not received the RFE and it says we need to wait until the 30th to do the request.

Have you tried contacting USCIS via a live agent for the code? They can have another one sent to you if you did not receive the access code.

Received all three I-797C's in the mail today for my wife's I-485, I-765, and I-131. What I found intriguing is wording indicating that a biometrics appointment may not be necessary, but if one is then an appointment notification will be sent.

How long after folks received the NOA did they receive the USCIS log in ID?

I got my online account access notice about 6-7 days after receiving those initial NOAs

maybe you should try your luck to walk-in at your ASC perhaps....

I was successfully walk-in and got it done on 11/2 instead of 11/16 at SF early in the morning. I knew my ASC accept walk-in, because I did the same thing for my F1 OPT EAD bio appt at the same place in 2017😂

Yeah, I think that may be my best option. Thanks for the sound advice!

Thanks! We got the status of "in transit" now, and my petitioner also got the email from the NVC about what to do next, but I still haven't gotten anything (the beneficiary) in the mail. Do I have to wait for it before I start with the requirements? Is it possible to just present a screenshot of the email from the NVC that my fiance got?

That is embassy specific. I would contact those from the Philippines and see what the next steps are. Typically, the embassy contact the beneficiary as well with further info.

  8. It means your case is still at NVC. Once they forward your case to the embassy, it will update the status of CEAC to “In Transit.” After they ship your case to the embassy, you should also get an email from NVC with your case number and other details in a letter (often called K-1 FTP letter).

Here’s a group for those i-129Fs approved (NOA2) in August as well. People often share tips and notes there.

    Hope that helps!
