Have you heard anything about Israel? The US Embassy in Jerusalem accepted the transfer of my wife's visa from Poland but I dont know what the time frame is for them to schedule us.

From what I've heard, most people don't have any trouble going via Spain or Italy, then to Poland, possibly with a stop in Germany if you wanted to take the train.
Does this mean I have to fly from the country I got the Schengen visa (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc) to Poland?

That's great! You are still planning to do it in Warsaw?
For now yes. I keep hearing conflicting info on Poland. Some say that Russian citizens can't enter Poland even with a Schengen visa that's from Greece or Spain etc. I'm gonna contact Polish embassy and see what they say.

Hello VJ,
My wife's paperwork just got DQ. Can anyone one tell me on average how long does it take for them to schedule a visa interview in Warsaw? Also does she have to go to the interview alone? Can me and my child join? Is getting a visa to Poland impossible? Can I switch my interview to Turkey?
Thank you

NVC needs a federal income tax return but I have not filed one for the last 3 years since I was living aboard with my family. What do I do?

Long process. US Embassy in Poland now works for four countries: Poland, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
Would it be better to switch Embassies?

Takes 76 days currently for NVC to review anything you upload. so count 76 days from the date the file you uploaded has after it.
76 days? This is very inefficient. No wonder they are backed up.

Well here is the really weird part. That same day they asked I submitted all the extra documents but they didn't accept one of them and asked for a different "joint sponsors w-2" when I submitted that document they didn't check it and its the final and only document that says submitted. They accepted 4 other documents the same day submitted them but this document they just left alone. I don't know if it was at the end of the work day or they just didn't care.

Stupid question but what is the usual timeframe between NVC accepting all the documents submitted and the visa interview scheduled at the US Embassy?
-
Hello VJ,
I submitted all the documents needed to NVC they accepted all and asked for more I then submitted the extra document and they haven't replied. It's been 45 days and they haven't accepted this final document. They also do answer any of my questions, they just send a generic reply every time. Why is it taking so long to accept this last document?
Thanks in advance.
Wait time for IR1 interview?

Hello VJ,
quick update then a question. My wife got an email notifying her that her case was transferred Jerusalem March 20th. On March 28th Jerusalem emailed my wife and said they were ready for her to be scheduled. They gave her instructions on how to schedule her interview. We had to wait 5 business days for the system to let us register but then there is nothing open on the schedule. So the question is how long do we have to wait for the schedule to be open?
