  1. thanks to all who posted here .... i will keep trying and we will discuss optional plans, cause failure isn't an option.. If and i say IF i don't have work by then, and the "worse case " happens and we fail the interview,, judy and i will still be together in Manila, cause she has my heart and i must be where my heart is....... God bless us all.... Wayne

  2. Hello my VJ family, well i got bad news today .... After hearing rumors of possible lay offs, that became a reality today... the truck driving company i "worked for " layed 1500 people off.. starting with the newest ones first(me included). The economy has hit everything hard .... and we have the K1 pending now.. OMG my judy is going crazy. i have applied to every company i can Google up . and 99 % say the same thing , " must have at least_______ months experience to apply".... well i only have 1 month and then the layoff. that doesn't qualify me to work for them.... how does one get experience if they won't hire you ??? that was our only hope to be approved cause it paid so well,,, unless there's something i don't know that i could do to meet the 125%... as far as assets i have a bit of savings and a nice home and 2 nice cars . can those be used as assets that will help to be approved?. also, i can get my brother to co sponsor, BUT i hear the Manila embassy doesn't accept co sponsors... if i had another job driving or if my VJ family knows of another job driving that would take 0 experience , i would appreciate it so much... i am a non drinker ,nonsmoker and non drug user . i will do any type of drug test required . i need work... these $7 per hour jobs around me won't meet the 125% the embassy wants .... i am sorry to post this here and sound like i am begging and pleading but, actually i am , cause i don't know what to do now... she is my life and IF we fail the visa , then i will have to sell everything here and move there... please someone , give me work till the interview comes along (hopfully i will have a new job soon), but please any help or advice ... Wayne ........sorry , if i posted in the wrong forum :help:

  3. I too am late to this party...lol but here is my 2 cents worth... i have read lots of posts but, when it comes to bashing other countries , well ,that's just wrong... We are intitled to our own opinion but, when it comes to "putting another country down" that kind of thoughts should be kept quiet or not posted.. Because NO country is BETTER than another one.......... here's my outtake on life... first of all we all are childern of God... I don't think it was God's plan for someone to say " hey my country is better than yours for this reason.............. no matter where you go you will find good people and bad. .... so it doesn't matter where you find your true love ,as long as he or she IS your true love... isn't that all that matters ????? doesn't matter to me if she is black or white, red,yellow...etc ...as long as that person holds the key to my heart , that's fine for me ..i have been in love with the "asian eye look" all my life , now i have a beautiful filipina of 2 years already and i am the happiest person in the world... so to make a long story short ... love can come from anywhere . even in my case 10,000 miles away...lol...

so ,,,can't we all just get along??? wer're not here to fight .... we're here trying to get our loved ones home ... Wayne(booger)

  4. Looking at Igor's List it seems very few NOA2 for K1 visas have come out of the CSC this month, what's going on? I realize VJers are only a percentage of the total caseload of the CSC but still... Are they busy with the HIB quota? Is this a seasonal thing? If so when is the K1 activity expected to pick up again?

Would you be so kind to tell us where we can view Igor's list?

Igor's list can be seen here : http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ then look under Statistics ... Wayne

  5. Oh and I just want to add that LCM is not a requirement in filing for the petition because I have followed the guides her in VJ and its not included there.

Raquel.... it isn't VJ to decide their fate right? we only give advice and opinions... It is the Embassy that makes or breaks you (so to speak) BUT, the LCM is a REQUIRED step to be LEGALLY married.. i still see problems for them , unless they cancel the petition now before it is approved and start over and do it right this time........... personally i don't see how the OP got their papers filed in the first place ... oh wait i just remembered part of his original post........ "Her mom works in the superior court of Bansalan which is her hometown and the court we got married at". ................ HMMMM i think his new MOM-in law did som string pulling at that place .....in my opinion ....

  6. I have nothing to HIDE anymore coz the only problem we have is THE PREVIOUS MARRIAGE that I am on the process now. And really that GUY IN THE EMBASSY HELPS ME alot. HE TOLD ME THAT WE ONLY NEED TO DO IS TO HAVE A AFFIDAVIT SUPPORT to tell everything what happened on my interview...then OATH TO THE CHIEF OF FRAUD DPARTMENT.. AND HE SIGNED IT...and THE AMERICAN CHief is really nice.. I know, thats the reason they gave me a result stating ONE PROBLEM ONLY...AND NOT BCOZ I LIE OR WHATSOEVER....

Thanks to GOD...I went back home still smiling at that time coz I know i still have the chance if i do the RIGHT THING THIS TIME...

    Thanks to ALL...

thanks to everyone who replied to her post even if some comments were not what i want to hear . i refuse to give up on my booger. she is my life and if and i say IF we are denied this time ,then i will sell my home and move there with her . the bottom line is : God lead us together , and that is where i want to die ......with her , no matter the location . i love you my baby.... remember , "If God leads you to it , he can lead you through it" ......

  7. HELP!

I live in Vancouver and my fiance lives in Montana. I have a daughter who was born in the US from a previous marriage to an american 15yrs ago. (I didn't become an american citizen during the years I was there)I want to move us to be with my fiance as soon as possible. We were thinking of putting my stuff in storage, going to 'visit' for a while in Montana, and marry while there. If we file paperwork from the US can they come and track us down and kick us out of the US once we are there even though my daughter is an american? Is it wiser to stay engaged and file the fiance visa instead?? It is very near the Canadian border so if necessary I could go to Saskatchewan for interviews, etc. Would it be wise to keep an address in Sask. and return for brief stays or would they deny re-entry to the US ???? Oh man, what to do???? How long can we 'visit' for legally? Is my daughter being american of any help to us? There is no town within 2 hours on the Sask. side or we would try living there and just commuting back and forth while the paperwork gets done! So basically, is it wiser to 'visit' and apply for a fiance visa or 'visit' and apply for a spouse visa? Can they force my american daughter to return to Canada?? Would they let me stay in the US with her in the US because she's a minor while the paperwork is done???? lol. Help answer any of this if you can, please!!!! Thank you!!!

HI Princess....it is not wise to "visit" while the process is going on...your best bet is to wait to get married (apply for a K1 visa for fiance) as there's talk of the K3 visa getting cancelled. If they ever discovered that you're actually living in the states illegally, you may never get approved for a permanent visa or for that matter, a visa of any type as they frown upon these tactics. We are all going thru the same thing here on Visa Journey...it is a long process & we all miss our loved ones deeply but it's what we all have to go thru to be legal and never have to face deportation or legal issues. Apply NOW for the K3, the longer you wait, the longer it will be before you can move. At the top of the site, there is a link to Guides, do as much reading as you possibly can...get educated on what you have to do ASAP! Every day that passes is wasted time to be with your love. When going the K3 Visa route, the consulate you'd be dealing with is in Vancouver, Montreal for easterners...there's no US Consulate in SK and no medical examiner here either, nearest place is Calgary. Good luck to you!

I already have his letter of employment from him on a company letter head.... any input will be appreciated ......I think i already know the answer but, i want to double check and not have any surprises on our interview day ...you know "Better safe than sorry"

  15. As for " my commission expires on" : that is the Notary person's commission expiration date (in other words when that person is no longer a Notary)

I was a Notary Public for my state back in the day ...lol.....

i hope this answers your question

    ..

Donna, the answer to question 3 from you is for the Notary Public to fill out where it says "My commission expires on..."when it is being notarized. ok? remember 1 wrong mistake might lead to a RFE(or a delay) be careful .. we have to wait long enough any way,.. even without a RFE. ....

    ........

    Hi,

Please can someone help me with this.

I am currently preparing my I-134, and I have some questions on how to proceed.

My fiance is currently in his first year of law school after having worked for a couple of years. He relies on loan at the moment as he has spent his savings but will be working at a law firm this summer. As at the moment his salary and savings (he has no property) would not be sufficient to be a sponsor, his dad has agreed to be a co-sponsor.

    My questions are these-

    1. Does my fiance need to fill out a 1-134? And should he give his bank records, tax returns, letters confirming his loans for last few years?

    2. Is there any form to fill out for the co-sponsor in addition to the I-134?

    3. At the end of the I-134 is a section called "Oath or affirmation of sponsor". How do I tell me fiance and his dad to fill where it says "My commission expires on..."? And does this document need to be notarized?

Many thanks in advance for your help
