    We are just now in that phase and very excited to be at that point. Have you found any predictions for how long it takes to get an interview for CR1 visa?

    We just got our DQ for my wife's visa. We are so excited and happy. It's been a long wait. We resubmitted on September 29 after an RFE for birth certificate. Does anyone know how long the wait for an interview at the Rio de Janeiro embassy is?

    I'm joining this thread. We got an RFE for my wife's birth certificate and we resubmitted September 21. Hopefully this will go faster and we will get the DQ this time.

    We found that they need a long form birth certificate from Brazil that you need to get from the place you were born. She is getting that and we will try again. I thought my birth certificate would be the problem, not hers. I was born abroad to US parents so it's much more complicated

    We submitted June 16, just got RFA tonight. They accepted everything but my wife's birth certificate. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with it because it looks just like one of the samples they accept. There appears to be a long form birth certificate available so maybe that is what they need. It's so frustrating, we were close

    So we are August 17 filers and we got our approval for my wife on June 13. Vermont service center. We are now in the NVC stage waiting for DQ. We have everything submitted. It's saying there is a 75 day wait for document review 😬 more waiting. My wife has been busy getting her vaccines. I feel so bad for her.
