    Oh gosh!! What os going on with this increase in timelines?!?! It keep hearing different responses from people. Some people say the timelines are not accurate and each case is processed different, in terms of the type of waiver, for who, complexity of the case etc.. but still you wouldn’t even be able to talk about outside of processing times for like 3 years. Does anyone have any recent approvals ?

    no idea! Did you ever find the answer? I have been trying to look everywhere and cant seem to figure out if its a truly timeline or not. I know every case is different but it went up to YEARS from month to month.

    That’s crazy! Before covid it was just a couple of months. A few weeks ago it was a year and recently its like 30 months.. i thought they are going to speed things up. How long did your waiver take?

    Hi everyone! I have a question, once you are approved for the i130, and uscis says they send an approval letter to the NVC. What exactly happens next? I’ve recently been approved for i130 but I haven’t received any email or letter yet.. sorry for the question i just figured some most of you are already past this stage you guys would have the best and most up to date info Thank you!!

    Im over 14 months and its so annoying!! Many of us are in the same boat. i think they did pause i130s, i try so hard not to feel sad when people who submitted months after us are at a different service center and are approved because I know the feeling of being separate from your partner and its so difficult. I just wish they would speed up the process its kind of ridiculous!!!!

    What’s going on in Potomac… these wait times are becoming absurd.

    True. I didnt even know they can give you that much information about waiting for background checks, i always thought they could just tell you the processing center and that’s pretty much it. So the advice is to just wait until the other country gives the background check? So its still just the waiting game?

    That is really annoying and beyond frustrating. It’s also so upsetting that Potomac is soooooooo slow! It’s not acceptable. And of course all we have to do it wait. Im surprised you were able to reach an agent and they gave you that much info! Lets try to be as positive as possible. I dont remember where i read or saw but supposedly Potomac is now processing july 20ish 2021 cases..

    When did you send it? did you wait till you were outside of processing times or did you do it right away. Also, what info did you write? Sorry for all the questions I feel like idk where to even start

    Yea its so frustrating. I dont know why the cases are even transferred there either. Tomorrow is 14 months!!! Lets pray that we get approved already! It’s about time we get approvals!!!

    Hi everyone. I am so tired and frustrated from “keeping myself busy” and not checking every day multiple times a day. Like is Potomac just not working anymore?? It’s ridiculous how they are making us wait this long!!!
