Hi Everyone, we made it through. 11 months of DS-5535 hell is over. We filed a WOM with Goldstein on July 29 and received our Approval notice with tracking number for my visa courier today. Words can't describe the relief we feel that after 2 years and 11 months since filing our application, we can finally move on with our lives. I wish all of you who are still waiting the best of luck and strength until you too, make it to the other side. If you haven't filed a WOM and are considering it, don't wait. I wish we had filed ours much earlier knowing it would give us our lives back.

Hey Everyone,
I finally received my visa and passport back this week. We are so relieved and still can`t believe that we can finally be reunited as a family. I had filed for a WOM with Goldstein end of May. I had to do an updated Medical which took the Consulate about 2 weeks to approve. I am wishing that all of you will also be approved soon and that you will be reunited with your family.

Our visas have finally been issued!!! Tracking has been provided, what a hell of a journey this has been, I wish nothing but the best for everyone in this thread!!!

So from what I’ve observed since 2021, it takes a MINIMUM of 10 months to see any form of movement on cases hit with DS 5535. And case status updates can occur during this time, but are meaningless.
