Your husband needs to get comfortable with the computer and/or forms.

IF he isn't make sure you hire someone to help you fill everything out and explain everything.

OR you can take the lead... research everything and explain it to your husband.

If you are not in the same country make sure you go through all the forms together online.

Make sure you agree on the evidence you submit.

Part of the evidence for filing an I-130 is showing bonafide relationship. Make sure you both agree on the relationship evidence you submit.

I think if your husband petitions your daughter you need to upload evidence they know each other. But, I could be wrong.

Yes, I agree with all u say. I plan to be involved every step of the way, I will be the one doing research. He knows my daughter and love her like his own and we have plenty of evidence since we are in the states on summer and Christmas time

    File two I-130s

one for you and one for your daughter.

    File one 1-130A

They are two separate petitions so you'll need to pay the fee twice.

File online because you receive the NOA1 immediately.

If you or the husband have been married before make sure the online filing doesn't mess up your dates.

Good luck! Get the I-130 on file ASAP it takes between 2-12 months!

My husband is not a computer person, he gets frustrated even looking at it so I doubt we will be filing online 🤣🤣🤣

see I don’t live in the states, we just visit and I want him to choose the way that’s less stressful for him.

thank you, my family and I receive your good luck 🍀

I130A is only for spouse of USC.

Have your USC spouse fill out the forms (but chat through the forms together).

They are the ones filing the petition and should know the parameters.

Also, some wording is very cultural so even if you are an English speaker you might get confused.

Thank you, your first line answered my question perfectly because I thought it was for the beneficiaries which is me and my child but it’s just for my information.

im just trying to hear from real people as well because I am going to be doing this without a lawyer since I have no criminal record or anything so it should be no complications.

    thank you again

    Lots of help here!

Please look at the guides and read, read and read!

    Good luck

I was going through the guides but I guess I’m confused because I don’t know what to fill out for my child.

also, I selected 1-130, 130A and G-1145. Should I do all three for my daughter as well? It also mentioned joint lease etc for evidence but since we do not live together what do I submit?
