    Ok i got the Welcome Notice in the mail today. and i went to Social Security Office and applied one they said i would get it within 7 to 10 days.

    I wonder how long the actual Green Card would take. and when i am suppose to register with Selective Service ?

    My timeline is in my signature. You will be able to check the status of your green card once you receive a welcome letter which will have a case number

    So u got ur Social Security Card after 14 days of arrival and Green Card after a month. I was just wondering coz at the POE "HOUSTON" they told me Green Card would take 6 month to arrive in the mail.

    I am flying to Lexington Kentucky.

    You might want to find out the rate to fly to Louisville, Ky. Lexington is not that far from there (1hr drive.) It may save you some money. Let me know the travel agent you went thru cuz hopefully we will be needing a ticket soon too.

    I have checked price from several agents, and bought the ticket from Emirates Office becouse they are the cheapest plus they don't give u run aroung or falls information as agent always would.

    Karachi to dubai to Houston to lex... Emirates Economy Boeng 777 Rs 69000/-

    Every agent i checked qouted me above Rs 71000/- plus they were giving the ticket from Khi to Dubai to London UK then Chicago then Lex....

    The rout i got from Emirates Office is Dubai to Houston Direct O Stops.

    I need help about purchasing tickets.

    Emirates

    Karachi to Houston.

    Can i just buy from Emirates office from Karachi airport. ?

    i dont wanna buy tickets from any agent or agency.

    and Do i need to apply NICOP ?

    hi leberal you should by the ticket from agent bcoz its too cheap than from airline office

    i mean u can get ticket from a agent for emrates i mean u will get it very cheap

    Hi everyone I just got the call from AMEX at 3:30pm today that my visa has arrive and i can pick it up at 10:00am to 12:00pm tomorrow morning....

    yesterday he called the embassy same answare they will sent his visa via american express(dont know when)

    i dnt kno why they take toooo much time to stamp the visa

    No updates its been 15 days and still waiting. i tried to call embassy but never get through any operator. so i called Amex they are saying i will get it soon ! Thats what they always say.

    i was thinking you would get ur visa by now... maybe u should call up the embassy, and see whats taking so long

    ur AP is done , and u sent ur passport in for visa right?

    do u know why u were in AP? just trying to compare ur case with mine...

    is it name check clearance?

    I don't know why they put on AP, but it lasted only 74 days and i got the call from embassy to submit the passport and visa is ready... since then i haven't heard back

    Nothing yet. Called AMEX and they said if they have an update they'll call me right away. Also emailed the embassy and they replied saying they've received the package but haven't reviewed it yet and that I should ask again after two weeks.

    So hopefully will know something by November 9th. Making vaccination arrangements ahead of time yeah.

    Hey guys should i e-mail embassy regarding my passport. that was sent on Oct-16 for Visa through Amex Khi. but i haven't heard anything back yet ???
