My status changed to ready today and I’ve submitted the DS160 and gone to book my interview. Can I book without the letter? edited because I asked the question about DS260 but then found the answer!

Sorry I’ve found it. Mine says in transit, that’s a good thing right?! Any estimates on how long it takes to get there and am I now waiting on a letter or something to book the interview? Can I fill in the DS160 now?
