  1. They asked; When/ how did you meet Who proposed to who and when Where does he live, has he always lived there and why What does he do for a living When was the last time you saw eachother How many times have you met in person They asked for; My birth certificate long form ACRO certificate I134 His 2022 Tax transcript His updated letter of intent to marry The I134 and letter of intent to marry had to have a “wet” signature.
  2. My status changed to ready today and I’ve submitted the DS160 and gone to book my interview. Can I book without the letter? edited because I asked the question about DS260 but then found the answer!
  3. Sorry I’ve found it. Mine says in transit, that’s a good thing right?! Any estimates on how long it takes to get there and am I now waiting on a letter or something to book the interview? Can I fill in the DS160 now?
  4. Could someone copy the link please where you’re checking? I thought I’d seen it in this thread but can’t find it now! Thanks
  5. Has anyone else had this response? The last inquiry reply wasn’t even referring to our case and this was the reply we got when we queried it. Does anyone think it means anything or is it just another holding email?
  6. Our NOA2 was May, we sent an inquiry via the online form and got this response today and are very confused. So far we haven’t had our case number
  7. I took screenshots from my phone of Instagram posts that showed pictures of us with the date and location. Then I took screenshots of the corresponding flight booking email and boarding pass from my apple wallet, hotel booking with our names on, and the original picture. I copied them all into a word document that was 2 pages long and included that at the end of the application. In the section where it asks you to describe meeting I wrote “we spent x time in x city on x date and corresponding photographs are appended” our petition was approved with that evidence.
  8. There’s been some confusion on my end, I’d put the wrong case tracking number into the app, my fiancé checked the mail last night and we’ve actually been approved for a week already! Feeling very stupid! NOA1 - 21 April 2022 NOA2 - 16 May 2023
  9. I can’t believe this! We’ve just compared our NOA1 to this and the receipt number is the same - I’ve put one digit wrong into the case tracker app and have been digitally tracking the wrong case for the last 13 months 🥴 we were approved a week ago! How embarrassing!!
  10. On closer inspection, the case number is one digit wrong, just the last digit is a one number wrong. But the address details, his name, my name etc all correct
  11. Hi My fiancé received the attached in the post. It says notice of action, approval notice and it’s dated 16 May. Today the case tracker app updated to say that they’d sent an RFE (with todays date on it). Is this normal or have they sent the wrong thing? Any advice appreciated. Thanks
  12. Yesterday I thought we’d been “left behind” but today we got an RFE. Double edged sword because I’m pleased we didn’t have to wait until later in the year to receive the RFE but at the same time we could do without it! Ah well!
  13. Stupid question but how do I know what group I should be looking at? My number is 746** Thanks!
  14. Hi My NOA1 was April 22, we filed the I129f when I was in the US so included my I94 record along with the travel document number which was my current passport number. My passport is due to expire in April 23 so I was planning on renewing it in January as I will likely be travelling back to the US around April. Will I need to let USCIS know that my passport number has been updated? Or as the I94 only relates to trips on what will become my ‘old’ passport number, will this be ok? Thanks
  15. She has a small business selling clothing now and talks about starting a job in a school “when the AOS is complete”. She also earns money at the moment via social media but I’m not sure that could be classed as a ‘job’. She has reported multiple times that her AOS is nearly done and she’ll be able to return to visit the UK early in 2023.
  16. Sorry I should have clarified, they’re very open and specific about when they met online (Sept 2020) what date they met in person in the UK for the first time (Sept 2021), when they married in the UK (Nov 2021) and when her and her son moved to the US (1 week after their UK wedding, Nov 2021). *They say* when asked they used the K1 visa. Clearly that’s not true, but these videos are in the public domain, she has almost 400k followers and over 10m views on her video, she makes no secret about it so originally I thought “they must know something I don’t know”. But maybe it’s plainly, they’re more brazen than I am!
  17. I understand that. My point was when people do this fraudulently and get away with it what’s stopping others doing the same?
  18. I’d hope not. They have video evidence of their first meeting in September 2021, they married in the UK November 2021, she has been living in the US since then. So frustrating when others are stuck waiting.
  19. I’ve just posted about this in another thread but there is an influencer on social media who entered the US from the UK only 7 weeks after first meeting her American partner in person and she and her son have lived in the US ever since with no consequence. If they can do it I don’t understand what’s stopping anyone else.
  20. Appreciate that, I think my confusion/ frustration comes from them being very open about it with no consequence. Not that I’d like to see any couple kept apart - it just seems unfair that even if they did enter fraudulently there don’t appear to be any consequences. C’est la vie!
  21. There is a couple on social media who met in the UK for the first time in September 2021, he returned 6 weeks later and they married in the UK, they both returned to the US 1 week later where they have been living ever since. They’re very open about their timeline on instagram, TikTok etc and have hundreds of thousands of followers, the British citizens son also moved over. They post multiple photos videos etc of their marriage and repeatedly say they used the K1 visa. Does anyone know how this is possible given most advice on this thread advises against even an engagement party. I’m not doubting the advice - I’d just love to know if there is some loophole I’m not aware of!!
  22. I’ve realised we’ve made two mistakes. The first is that despite it being in our checklist we somehow forgot to make a copy of the I29f packet before we submitted it, no idea how we managed to overlook this step but we did. First of all, is this going to be a major problem further down the line? We have the originals of all the evidence we’ve submitted etc but just not a copy of the entire packet as a whole. The second mistake and the reason the first came to light was I don’t think we included the back page of my partners (USC) birth certificate. Can we submit that now as supplemental evidence with our WAC number? If so, could anyone tell me the best way to go about this please? Feeling very stupid!
