It may be a little different for each congress representative. But for TX-24 district, I called their office, described my request, then she gave me an email address to send case details. Find who is your representative first and then search how to contact their office.

Today the Ankara embassy made some appointment dates available and we were able to reschedule our appointment to December 5th from January 24th.

Only the Ankara Embassy is issuing K1 visas in Turkey.

They will send an email to your fiance. What you need to do is when your case is in “In Transit” status you should send an email to ankaraiv@state.gov including the NVC case number in the subject line, and provide the email addresses for both of you in the message. They sent an email to my fiance 6 days after the case was in “Ready” status (received by the embassy).

Yeah our case is sent to the embassy, 70 days after NOA2. This Administrative Processing might have been the standard procedure afterall.

Yeah… We were hoping the same, November-December. To be more specific, they only had 3 dates available in the entire calendar; 24, 26 and 31st of January. They should make more dates available soon.

Sorry to hear about your situation. If they received your case on October 3rd, then there is a good chance it might be shipped to Ankara on October 25th.

We received the Packet 3 today and immediately scheduled the visa interview. Unfortunately the earliest date was 24 January 2023. But we will be on the lookout for earlier dates to reschedule.

I would say NVC takes 55-70 days after USCIS approval. They will send you an email. NOA2 date refers to when your case was approved and sent to NVC.

You are not supposed to fill out DS-160 until after your embassy gets the case after NVC processing. Depends on the embassy but probably they will reach out to you and that’s when you fill out DS-160

Hi everyone, apparently my fiancée stapled the I-134 I sent her. I read on the internet that they don't like staples, do you think it would be an issue?

Our NVC status changed from ‘In Transit’ to ‘Ready’. They had sent the case on Oct 06

Did the embassy contact you and tell you can fill ds-160?

I just got the email from NVC our case is sent to the Ankara Embassy. 70 days from NOA2. Not complaining but curious why it’s not on the shipping date. 😃

Nowadays it’s averaging at 60 days I think. You can ask your representative to do a congressional query and get the case number.

Hi all, Our I-129F was approved on July 29th and it hasn’t been shipped to the embassy yet (it’s been 67 days). I contacted my Representative to check the status and get the case number. They sent me the below response: The NVC has responded to our office in regards to the K1 Visa for your fiancé. The case, ANK**********, is currently in administrative processing to determine the beneficiary's eligibility for the visa. Administrative processing is inherently not a transparent process for national security or public safety reasons and cannot be expedited; the NVC cannot estimate when the process will be complete but will notify you when it is complete. I know that visas may go under Administrative Processing after the interview, but I didn’t know this. Also, when I check my status on CEAC, it shows “AT NVC” So now we are confused what’s going on. Does anyone have any information or experience about this? Thanks.

Thank you, it gave us more insight. The case number is generated actually, I received it from my representative. Starts with 3 letters of my Embassy. It says “At NVC” when I check the status. We are hoping for the October 11 shipment date now.
