    Hi there - short answer is you should have no problem. My fiance and I (he is from Algeria ) and went stayed in Tunisia with no issue. Nothing asked about our status etc. We had a wonderful time Good luck!

      So I reserve the hotel and when we signed in just said my husband was staying with me I never said he was my fiance. Another time we went we stated an Airbnb And they didn't ask it all. So when I told the hotel he was my husband they didn't ask for proof of that. Never had any issue.

      Thanks Beth,

      I’m going to try to make Sousse work. My fiancé really wants to go there. I did contact an Airbnb and asked about the house rules which stated foreign couples were allowed. I explained our situation and he said we would be welcomed there. 

      I also emailed a hotel inquiring the same and explained our situation. I haven’t heard back from them yet.
