    I am not under A/R.. i paid doc verification a month before my interview. window 38 also told me congratulations coz im approved. there were no problems really :(

    did u pay for visa delivery at the usem? if u do then perhaps u can track it at their website using trackway bill. track it using your mnl case number with 01 office hours manila time. or call this number 5286300 ext 5184 or 5185, its hard to get thru so be patient.did u text delrbos at their hotline text number for approved visa delivery? i dont think ure on AR for doc verification, coz u didnt get the white slip like what I and others had. call robbie at delbros and tell him your concern and he will transfer u to another number which is i think loc 127. or perhaps, call delbros and ask for local 127.

    Called today and the visa will be released tomorrow for delivery. God that was a long wait, finally my baby will be here next week.

    just to ask.. what number did u call? is it the USE call center? Lorraine? or Delbros?

    63 2301 2000 x5184 Just ask for info on your visa or immigrate visa. its not the call center who is worthless for any detailed answers.

    I have been calling Delbros and they said that USE havent forwarded my visa to them yet..

    I called USE and its call center too, they say that they do not know, all I have to do is wait..

    im not in AR..

    why its taking soooo long? :(

    i am thinking of going to the embassy to personally ask anyone there about my visa.. My flight is on the 25th.. i'm starting to get worried.

    Go there monday to thursday 1-2pm only.just bring with you the appointment letter and some papers just to show to the guard.goodluck :).by the way why you book a flight without having your visa yet? hoping you get the visa before your flight :yes:

    my interview was March 26.. based on successul interviews here in VJ, visa takes like 3-7days? so my fiance bought me a ticket hoping 3weeks++ after my interview is enough already/safe to wait for my visa :(

    do any of you have the same experience?

    consul said "YOU ARE APPROVED".. no doc verification, no other requirements, everything's fine..

    window 38 said "we need you to renew your passport first then come back and submit the new one for visa stamping" - (old passport was damaged by SLEC, picture was slightly loose)

    my friend already submitted her NEW passport today at window 18... question is, how long does it take to receive her visa? any advice on how to follow up with USEM re: her visa?

    PASSPORT RELEASING AT DFA

    just wanted to ask if the releasing of passport (renewal) is fast.. will you still fall in line like what you did during application or its more easy?

    the renewed passport is scheduled for release on the 8th in the afternoon, they did not put any specific time in the receipt, they just wrote "8 April pm"

    we will pick it up on the 8th around 12 noon time.. do u think that's a good time or should we pick it up earlier? is there a tremendous line for receiving?

    Releasing is quite fast...you'll be out in 15 to 30 minutes time...be there at 1 PM...they take lunch breaks at 12 noon... :thumbs:

    Im not sure what gate number it is but you go thru the back area...where you entered when you first filed your renewal...ask the guards there...they'll assist you and tell you where to go...it inside with airconditioning with chairs...windows with letters posted to it...sit in front of the window where the first letter of your surname is posted...hope this helps...:)

    bringing pets to the US

    i am bringing my dogs too.. shih tzu and pomeranian.

    u need to get them a health certificate (with vaccination history) from your vet. Then you also need to get them an export permit from BAI (bureau of animal industry).

    Note that states have different animal export/import law.. some state requires more paperworks for animals.. u must check that.. also the airline, ask for info from the airline too.. The most pet friendly airline is Northwest airline -- they allow pets as carry on (in the cabin) as long as its weight do not exceed 15lbs :)
