  1. Just visited my fiancé, again... with no response from USCIS. We expected to celebrate our application during this visit. We are very tired, the time apart is hard, and we are confused. But we maintain our commitment.
  2. In my experience, nothing happens. No email, no approval, nothing.
  3. We’ve been left behind and it would be nice to have occasional updates. Anything I can do to help?
  4. Can you update your timeline? It's important part of the forums
  5. Hey, I'm curious why the untouched number doesn't reduce when there are a few cases touched for the day. Like it says 59 untouched for a few days Ina row, even with approvals and denials
  6. They are prolonging hundreds of applicants in order to improve their statistics. The April and march groups are no longer celebrating, everybody is tired of getting hosed.
  7. We're in a similar situation. But we're just getting a taste of the torture compared to you. Our noa1 is April 8th, and it's the date with the most untouched activity, over 60 cases I think. Our range doesn't get much attention either 70500. We were considering starting over by getting married cr1. I know it's pointless but at least we would feel more secure going forward
  8. The fact there are still people waiting from January sends chills down my spine. Emotional torture
  9. Reddit AMAs and general searches. I don't claim to work there. But I appreciate your sarcasm.
  10. The checks uscis does are the same for everybody. Their checks do not involve a team searching hours or days on end into your history. They type your information into the fbi database. Either something comes up or nothing does. I'm not wishing things, I'm observing what's happening to us and hundreds of others. Watching applications that applied months after yours getting approved is unusual punishment. We paid our fee, we waited for our turn, and now we are told to just keep waiting, don't you dare complain, and you don't have the right to speak to us.
  11. I don't think that's true. USCIS does the same background check for everybody, one background check isn't harder than another. They check the FBI criminal database just like everybody else. If you look at the people still waiting, nobody really has any special circumstances. And most are approved. As for leaving people behind, that's exactly what they are doing to improve their statistics. They leave a large chunk and lower priority to a trickle of what it was (5 to 20 cases a day), and move onto the next month. It comes down to being unlucky, unfair, incompetent and heartless. There are so many people in 2021 who are still waiting while people almost a year after them are being approved.
  12. Anybody notice the 2023 January approvals on Facebook groups? We are still waiting for April. If it's real, what a slap in the face
  13. Processed in order received is absolutely false. They are approving applications 2 months past April now.
  14. Still waiting for a response for us. Early April. Seem to be part of the unlucky bunch that have to wait longer than others
